At first it was frustrating to put together. Advice, read the instructions it comes with!! Do NOT watch the video showing you how to put it together bc the lamp in the video is not the right one. The inside cord, you have to scrunch into the pole by lacing the cord together. Hard to explain but that is where the real issue is when putting this lamp together. Other than that, once it is put together, it looks great and works great. I honestly like it and the price is great as well.

I really do like this lamp! It puts out perfect, nice, warm light with a wide range of dimming and brightness. Putting it together was a snap. For those that are complaining about the extra or 'too long' cord, a quick glance at the instructions shows you where to fold the cord so that it fits up into the hollow tube of the lamp's stand. It's not super heavy on the bottom which can have some stability issues, but since mine is behind a couch it doesn't come up. The only issue I had - and the reason for one star off - is because the lamp shade fits at a weird angle. It isn't quite level. Something about the swivel at the neck (you can adjust the lamp shade to be at 90 degrees) doesn't let it adjust straight down so the shade is level when it's hanging down. It bothers me a lot, though some may not even notice it. You can see it in other customer photos.

These lamps are horrible quality and very unsafe. We bought two of them and both fell over and do not stand up as designed. On top of it some of the screws were stripped. We had to throw both of them away.

Not so easy to setup, especially when hiding the wires. And not so stable in a carpeted floor.

I like everything about the lamp. It is tall and elegant with a very nice bulb. It gives off warm and cozy light and ambiance. Just be extra careful if you place it on a carpet because the body located in the center of the base which made it very unstable in non flat surfaces. Tall arched lamp should have the base on the farther side of the base. I had to put weight in to it because it almost fell on our coffee table. Aside from that, it is perfect and very inexpensive.

Received the lamp. It was easy to assemble but would not turn on even after disassembling and reassembling. Another was sent to me and that one also would not turn on! Very disappointed and annoyed that I am now going out of my way to return two heavy lamps!!
