C2F Garden Lawn Leaf Rake 61 Inch Adjustable and Telescopic Metal Rake Tool for Yard (Aluminum Handle) (Iron Handle)

Had to revise my earlier review (below) and drop it to one star. First time I used it to rake leaves the telescoping handle collapsed and bent under light use. I just now managed to heat the plastic ferule that retains the telescoping part and remove it. Guess I'll look for a long piece of hardwood dowel to insert into the remaining part of the handle to see if I can still get some use out of it. I wouldn't recommend that anybody buy this rake in its current configuration.Very light weight with what seem like durable tines, I can't say yet that it won't give good service as I only received it a couple of days ago. The reason for my not giving it a higher rating is that when I removed it from the package the curved ends of the tines were bound up in the cross bar rendering it very difficult to open. I had to use pliers pulling on each tine individually through several cycles before I could get it opened. And when I closed it, I thought fairly carefully, it got bound up again although not so badly. Fortunately I've got some heavy shrink wrap tubing, so I think I'll cut off a short piece and shrink it around the handle in a position that'll make it impossible to bind it up again.

When the box showed up, I knew I was in trouble. The box weighed about 1/2 pound. Very disappointing. Flimsy and cheap. Should have known, you get what you pay for. I really wish Amazon wouldn’t even offer this quality of merchandise.

Telescoping feature seemed like a good feature for around planters but poor material quality. First use bent handle beyond repair so it no longer telescopes. First use was hard enough on the rake head it is no longer adjustable.

This is what happened on my 1st use. Handle broke almost in half. Not made for nothing but cement raking in my opinion.

Sadly this is not a well made garden tool. I purchased a very similar leaf rake for half the price 4 years ago & I use it daily. Your rake will not last 1 year. Sorry not a good purchase.

Nice concept, but bent the first time I used it.

It does the job right. Too bad the handle broke off and the rake started to bend. All after one use.

First time used this spring, handle broke right at the rake head.Not durable enough for basic clean up.This wasn't even fall leaf drop--just raking up dead plant leaves.Very disappointing.
