These raking studs are generally used for raking mortar joints during the initial construction process. They may also be suitable for raking small areas of loose or crumbling mortar, prior to re-pointing. For removal of long-established bed joints prior to re-pointing, use the dust free C-Tec Brick Raking system with a diamond blade. The tool can also be used free-hand, with the wheels removed.
