I use these canvases to paint tempera and acrylics. With a black gesso background, I get the sharp colors and smooth surface without the cloth texture of regular canvases. Much easier to work with and infinitely less expensive than traditional canvas.

Super affordable wood panels for my art

I adhere my watercolors to the cradles instead of matting and framing them. Nice presentation and easier to mail. I would prefer a deeper edge so the painting could stand on its own. The small ones can but not the larger ones.

Best for mounting watercolor art....Birchwood. Great value for the money

I was reluctant to order after reading some of the negative reviews, but I am very happy with these. They are sturdy, well-constructed and smooth. They should work great for my art projects.
