Superlux HD381F Headphone

I don't claim to have golden ears, so can't make detailed comments on sound quality, though I have used other headphones that I could tell were not very good. The HD381 series has been very well reviewed as having very good sound for the price; the HD381F in particular as having a flat frequency response (the HD381 and HD381B had different characteristics, but were all liked for their sound for different types of music). Google for details.I found the HD381F sound quality excellent (subject to above disclaimer). It was comfortable in my ear with the eartips fitted (I didn't try the others). Quite a high degree of sound isolation was provided (good or bad depending upon requirement - good on a noisy air journey, bad in motor traffic!). The other tips might provide less isolation from the outside world? The published driver size, 13.5mm, is larger than many inexpensive phones, a good feature. Volume was satisfactory for my devices.Instead of a long cable, it came with a short (60cm) cable and a plug-in extension. I found that very useful as I often use a sound source (player, phone) in a shirt chest pocket. It also came with a "patented dual function cable wrapper/clip"; I couldn't work out what it was for as a wrapper or how to use it (a cable tidy to shorten the cable in use, a storage device?) - maybe later comments to this review will inform?It's not clear from the Amazon page that this is shipped (by PriceAngels) from Hong Kong. In my case it arrived reasonably quickly with nothing extra to pay, and I'm glad it worked well and I didn't have to return it.

Bought them knowing the construction was not the best, but having some faith in its sound quality after reading some reviews.After the purchase, I tried to use them to listen to music in two different PC's and one iPod and it was a really bad experience. (No bass at all. Some distortion in normal volume levels).I've used many different earphone brands through the years and never had such a bad experience. Even in the same prize range (cheap models from Philips, Panasonic and Sennheiser).Really disappointed. Definitely don't recommend them.

This is a really excellent set of earphones for the money. The packaging is minimal, there have to be some cutbacks when your getting a decent set of IEMs at this price. 3 sets of buds, each size a different colour to easily distinguish one from the other. The IEMs themselves are semi open so as well as the sound being channelled directly into the ear there is an open earphone section on the inside of the each unit. For this reason these IEMs will not provide full isolation like the more traditional models. The sound quality is excellent considering the cost. They provide a well balanced sound with adequate bass (fans of Beats may stop reading now). Neither is there anything too major wrong with the mid-range and treble. I would say the Overall the sound is much superior to most earphones at this price level. One note of caution however, although the cables seem adequately strong the point at which they enter the earphone is a weak point. I would advise extra care in handling this area, if you're in the habit of yanking the cable to extract the earphones from your ear then you can forget it. A little Sugru judiciously applied around the cable entry may save a lot of heart-ache. I have a set for the last 6 years. I have no problem recommending the HD381F's to anyone looking for budget earphones with decent sound.

i have had several pairs of superlux headphones over the years and they have always provided excellent value for moneythese have had loads of good reviews however the pair i purchased are the absolute pits scratchy treble non existant base and recessed midsthey are about as good as the feebies you get when you buy a phone not even worth 1 star

I bought this earphone to replace the earphone of my iPod shuffle.In terms of the performance, you can think of iPhone 4 earphone < HD381F < iPhone 5 new type earphone.I definitely recommend this earphone for its price. If you are some sort of profession or eager amateur, you can buy this for some quick use if you are out in somewhere without your normal audio sets.The only problem is the width of the wires. It is THIN. I reckon this earphone won't be able to last long. Well it is cheap anyway.Still, among the range of smilar prices, this earphone is definitely worthwhile.

Ich nutze diese Inear seit vielen Jahren, vor allem beim Sport. Sie sitzen super im Ohr, sofern man das Kabel nach oben über das Ohr führt. Die Isolation ist nicht sehr hoch, was ich als Vorteil beim Joggen sehe.Die Abstimmung ist wirklich fast neutral, wobei sie einen hellen Grundcharakter haben. Der Bassbereich ist nicht angehoben, die Mitten sind unauffällig, die Höhen sind gut präsent.Für den geforderten Preis bekommt man relativ viel Sound. Das Kabel verhärtete bei mir relativ schnell, was nach etwa einem Jahr zu offenen Litzen führte. Deshalb habe ich ein neues Kabel verbaut, womit ich sie sicherlich noch mehrere Jahre nutzen kann. Wer neutralen Klang für wenig Geld sucht, ist hier richtig.

最初のレビューよりかなり変更致しました。SONYウォークマンNW-S754でイコライザーフラット状態でwave音源を聴いての感想です。音の抜けが少し悪い気がします。ベース音は強調されて出るのではなく、篭り気味ですが自然な感じには出ています。ただ、音の閉まりは少し弱め、すーっと音が立ち消える空間表現力？は余り感じないです。ただ、最近のベース音を強調するBASSポートの付いてる「低音ゴリX2出てますよ」感がないので、その点は非常に好感が持てました。私は、普段イコライザーで調整出来る最低音部(400Hz)を1番下まで落として聴くので・・・ケーブルの太さは他に所有してるAKG_K321より若干細く、他に所有してるJVC_HA-FX40と比べてはHA-FX40の方が明らかに太いです。それと、この2製品より絡み易いです。遮音性は抜け穴が大きいので耳へ対する圧迫音？は軽減されますが、その代償で音漏れは大きい方だと思います。装着感は特に悪くなかったです。良い悪い意味で個性が無い素着な音の出するイヤホンだとは思いますが、逆に個性が無さ過ぎるので、最初は星3にしてました。現時点では音質が悪いとは思いませんが、良いとも思えなかった。音楽を鳴らしっぱなしのエージングをしましたが、音抜けの悪さと篭りは改善されなかったです。その代わり、ベースの階調表現がエージング前より良くなりましたが、それと同時に低音量も多くなり、私には出過ぎで聴き疲れしてしまいます。これでNW-S754ではイコライザーの最低音部(400Hz?)を1番下にしないと低音が強過ぎて聴けなくなりました。これは私にとって非常に残念な事でした。これは、所有してるカナルイヤホン全部でもそうしてるので、私の聴感？の問題だと思います。聴き易くするようにイコライザーで高音(6.3k・16khｚ)を上げたら高音部にピーク？があるのか嫌な感じし、ここでも疲れる音になってしまった。ただ、こうする事で音抜けは若干改善された。低音部の篭りと低音量の増加、高音部を持ち上げた時のピーク音で期待した分、余計ガッカリしたので、星2に落としました。音の解像度はJVC HA-FX40、 PHILIPS_SHE9700より上だと思います。ただ、ノリの良さはJVC HA-FX40の方が上だと感じました。付属品はSHE9700の方が多いです。あちらにはコードキーパーは付いてませんが、立派なポーチが付いてます。低音域は私には他機種同様に量の多さが気になり嫌な傾向なのですが、私の感じではそれよりピーク音（3khz～6khz辺り？）、そしてハウジング素材の悪さからくる共振音？が原因と思ってます。※私みたいに変わった聴感の人でない限り、星3の評価はついてた商品だとは思います。私のイヤホンレビューは数機種書いていますが、共感票が殆ど得られてないので、これも参考にならないかな？追記：16年08月08日どしても気に入らないので、通るかどうかは判りませんが、返品しました。

価格を考えたら、なかなかな音質でしょう。ただしケーブルはとても絡みやすい素材です。
