I've tried many different chamoys in Texas, in Mexico, anywhere I can find them. Some were ok, most not. However, this past summer I found the most amazing, best tasting, best texture, chamoy made by Sarape Treats. Best taste bar none!. I ordered the Spicy Pineapple flavor and it's such a perfect blend of spicy sweet melt in your mouth ooey gooey softness that just explodes in your mouth that you want to eat it by the spoonful! I've poured it over a block of cream cheese, with carrot sticks, apple slices, jicama, fresh strawberries, over grilled chicken, even over vanilla ice cream! But the best was making a pineapple smoothie with fresh pineapple, ice cubes, some pineapple flavored powdered drink; make the smoothie and then coat the rim of the glass with the chamoy.......perfect explosion of hot, cold, spicy sweetness.I was also impressed with the packaging. It arrived in a perfect plastic container, no leaks, very well sealed; easy to open and reseal; I've refrigerated it after opening but I've also left it out in room temperature.....either way it tastes just as heavenly. The American in me says "Wowsa! " The Mexican in me says "Riquisimo!" Thank you Amazon for carrying this awesome product and making it so easy for me to get my fix whenever I want! Item was damaged, expired & the package was half full & leaking. It was a sticky mess!!!!

I recently tried Sarape treats Chamoy and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The spicy tamarind flavor was perfectly balanced and the texture was just right. I used it as a dip for my fruit and it added a whole new dimension. The product is handcrafted with care and the quality is evident in every bite. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and mexican flavor.

The taste was amazing so was the consistency the only thing i have negative to say was that it seemed half empty and was sticky on the container.

So excited to get this but very saddened when I opened it. It had leaked out and made such a sticky mess!!

I purchased two after ordering previously! Super tasty but one arrived cracked open and this seller doesn’t offer a way to request a replacement.Not sure I’ll order again because of this.
