Review of Organic Functional Groups: Introduction to Medicinal Organic Chemistry

I found this book helpful, unfortunately there was a page needed that had been ripped out. LWW was of no help replacing exact book, they rarely ever have been in the past with access codes and such for other books. I returned thru Amazon.

An excellent, clear, and concise review of the important functional groups, with an eye towards medicinal chemistry and pharmacology. It was assigned reading for my Principles of Drug Action class, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing to brush up on some old O-Chem knowledge in preparation for a more advanced chemistry-related drugs course. The CD accompaniment is a useful aid as well, if you read closely, answer the practice problems in the text, and check your answers, as well as going through the problem sets in the CD, you'll be right as rain for any discussion of drug-receptor interactions and in vivo metabolism.

The textbook looked just like the picture and came 4 days early surprisingly. The scratch off code was not used and it had the CD in the back as well.

Explains concepts very clearly and easily. Not to complicated and can help anyone with just basic concepts of chemistry.

This book is very cute and gives you the basics of organic. It's super easy to learn from and fun to read. It's not like other books, where it seems endless, however this book is so easy to understand. It's great to use as a reference for organic.

My god this book saved me, I really was afraid i would have to go through my Organic Chemistry book to refresh on everything, But damn this book does well at explaining the points needed for this course. 10/10 would recommend.

Very straight forward & to the point. Very easy to follow & understand.

It has been several years since I had taken Organic Chemistry and I needed a quick refresher for pharmacy school. This book was great!
