Should be the new “Best Seller”!
Originally ordered the “Best Seller” 50 mile range antenna after making the leap and cutting the cord. After a few months of constantly readjusting, yelling at the dogs for walking around and screwing up the signal, and being relegated to only one side of the couch in order to watch a football game without digital static...I made a switch. Stumbled upon a website (nocable.org) that was a treasure trove of info. Realized that since I live in the sticks, I only need a 30 mile antenna, as the 50 wouldn’t pick up any additional channels. After researching the hell out of 30 mile antennas, they seriously all look the same and claim the same strength and features, ended up choosing this one based on pricing and the fact that they have pretty decent website support.Out of the box, it looked identical to my old one. However side by side comparison showed the coax connection on this one was way more stout than the 1byone. I did like the fact that it has a black side and white side in order to blend in better for different areas. After installing in the same exact spot as the old one, I was amazed that every channel worked. No more “weak signal” popping up on the tv. My dogs are free to roam without the fear of being scolded. My other couch cushions are finally getting some use. And honestly the picture even looks more clear. (That’s probably all in my head though).Bottom line, this antenna is fantastic! I tested it in all of the other rooms and no matter where I put it, it picked up all the same channels. I’m definitely buying one for all the other TVs.Note: It did have limited range in my basement, but I’m assuming that’s normal for any antenna.

Did a Comparison Test - Good Results
I recently bought a top selling indoor HDTV antenna from Amazon and used it for about 2 weeks. My house is located on a pretty good hill, so my location is good for receiving over the air TV signals. With that antenna I got 11 of the 14 transponders that are within 35 miles of me (which was a total of 48 channels) , but some channels were pretty weak based on the "signal level %" reading on the TV. That particular antenna also had a removable in-line amplifier which I also tried, but it actually caused less channels to come in. However the weaker channels did have a much stronger signal level with the amplifier. I think the amplifier boosted some stations beyond what the TV input wanted to see and ignored those channels. I lost some of the channels I wanted when the amplifier was used, so I ended up not using the amplifier at all.I then saw this NoCable un-amplified antenna and thought I'd give it a try and compare it to the first antenna I bought. Which ever one was the worse performer would get sent back. Plus it was clear to me that I needed an un-amplified antenna since my test with the amplifier on my first antenna gave me worse results. One thing I noticed about the NoCable antenna is that the coax cable is much thicker in diameter than the one on the first antenna I bought, which could be a factor in helping the overall performance (ie, less signal loss with a heavier coax cable). When I got the NoCable antenna I decided to do a "side by side" comparison test of it to my original antenna. I made a log of every transponders signal level I was getting with the original antenna without the amplifier installed. It was a nice clear day, so there were no weather factors to worry about. I then removed the original antenna and put the NoCable antenna in the same exact location on the wall, and then hooked it up to my TV. I did an "auto channel scan" with the NoCable antenna installed, and saw that it picked up one more transponder, which added 6 more channels for a total of 54 channels.I then again recorded the signal level of every transponder, and found that the NoCable antenna increased the signal level a noticeable amount of about 80% of the channels I was getting. This comparison testing was done in less than 1 hour time, so I feel it was a good comparison test of the performance between the two antennas. The NoCable antenna definitely proved to be the better performer for me. If you're within 30~35 miles of TV transponders in your area, I'd recommend this antenna based on the increase in performance I saw . Remember that your location and elevation, and the obstructions around your house has a lot to do with how any of these indoor HDTV antennas will perform. My test just shows that one antenna can perform noticeably better than another under the same conditions.

Works Great!!
Wow, this HDTV antenna works great, better than expected! Very easy to setup. Simply connect to the TV, scan for channels and you are good to go. Picked up all my local channels with unbelievable clarity, actually more channels than I thought I would receive, since each local station transmits several different channels. The clarity is even better than when connected before to cable! Didn't even need to position the antenna any particular way. Thank you NoCable!

Good antenna, good bye cable tv
I get 20 channels including all major networks with strong signals. I have it on a wall which gives me better reception than putting it in the window. I don't know if the window glass has minerals, etc in it that degrade the signal or the wall becomes part of the antenna. I tried putting an amplifier on it but reception was worse. Its been cloudy and rainy here but that doesn't seem to affect the signal. Hey for $20 its worth a try. Years ago I bought an expensive HDTV which is worse than this. I'm will also be using my Fire TV stick

Cut the cable! You can't go wrong with this antenna
installation was a breeze. I was able to pick up all the local stations and major networks and their sub-channels that are available in this large metropolitan area. Exceptions were for the 2 public tv stations that did not and which i assumed are probably of lesser power. Geographic considerations may have also come into play and we are near the limits of the 30 mile range for which the antenna is rate. Reception is clear and sharp. Even though this antenna is rated for 30 miles, it also picked up the major network stations and their sub-channels from another city located 60+ miles away in the opposite direction. Reception for these stations sometimes varies with some periodic pixilation. However, since these are basically the same as my "local" stations, this is not of any concern. Another plus in my estimation is the fact that this antenna requires and has no option for a power booster. This truly is an instance of under promising and over producing.
