My sister owns one of these or similar and while I was on vacation visiting I noticed all the water in her fridge was in reused Gatorade bottles. So I asked and she showed me the filter from that moment I wanted one.My water comes from a well in Florida and it has a lot of sulfur and iron and you can smell the sulfur when you open any faucet in the house. If you are not familiar with sulfur it smells like rotten eggs.I ordered this one and when my vacation was over it was waiting for me at home. Ensambly was easy and the only thing I changed was I got different filters made of ceramic. I cleaned it and ran about 5 gallons of water to clean the filters and then I filled it up the next day I bottled the water and it did not smell at all, the flavor was crisp and tasteless and now I am saving a bunch of money not buying bottled water.

I was expecting to receive something cheap to try out and if I liked it, then I would upgrade do a more expensive system later. Boy, was I wrong, this system is heavy duty, high quality, and looks great in our kitchen (my wife approves). Using the supplied filters, the water tastes great after running a couple a couple tanks or fillings of water through it (2.25 gal x 2). I highly recommend this item to anyone in the market for a gravity water purifier system. Save yourself $$$ and give this system a try!

I have been wanting to further purify our water and had considered a much higher priced model. I wanted to stop relying on bottled water knowing that the water inside can absorb some of the product from the bottle. We live in the country and have well water. While it is filtered it still tasted of iron and mineral. This system has been great. 4 filters and the water tastes great. I am mostly only drinking this water now. The price was well worth it. The amout I save on bottled water alone is enormous. I highly recommend this product.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this product twice. The First time the glass part came broken, the second one leaks. Not to mention the second one came like 4 days late. Not buying a third one. Returning!

When taking the water filter out of the box, i was impressed with the quality and weight of the item. However once I started putting it together, I wasn't as impressed. The first thing I noticed is the knob on the lid looks and feels ery cheap, and the metal flange that goes between the knob and lid is extremly flimsy and was severly bent. I was able to get it back into a usable shape. when attaching the spout, I noticed it is plastic not metal, I'm guessing I missed that description in the listing, this is ok, however the water gauge attached to the spout is not angled properly, it it should have been rotated more during assembly. you have to look at the gauge from an angle, not directly from the front. It does not affect the opperation of the device, I just find it visually unappealing. If you are not worried about the aesthetics, by all means purchase this product. I am not very picky about my water, so as far as the filtering aspect, I'm pleased.

Had been spending way too much on bottled water, but now that we got this we will save a ton. It will pay for itself in the first month easily! It was not hard to put together, looks great on the counter, and the water tastes fine now. I don't see any reason to pay more for a more expensive brand, especially for the container itself. You can always switch out to brand name filters if you really want to; they'll fit this system.

Overall the water tastes better than the tap but if you fill it more than the bottom half can handle the water from the bottom lifts up the top half of the device and it starts leaking from the seam. This is super annoying because the entire point would be to not have to fill this up so many times during the week. I would return it if it wasn’t such a hassle, this is the price you pay for not buying a name brand product.Also it was really dirty when it came. You better scrub all the seams and cracks with soap or you’ll get oil and grease in your water.
