I can finally get the cat eyes I've wanted!

It’s alright. I get the point, in theory, but it’s not very user friendly. I don’t consider myself an expert, but I’ve worked in cosmetics for years and have been dabbling since out of the womb. I was curious with this one - bored maybe? In all seriousness - I have a round face and uneven ears ( yes I said ears ) so it’s not easy to get that perfect snatched contour on this face. The clean line contour marketing was the first draw for me. When I got the package, it shows a bagillion options for use, yet not one for contour ( it was all eye or lip) It’s also confusing to have to switch the tool you’re using to the opposite side of the face / it makes it very difficult because the cut outs are not exactly symmetrical and one side has ribs ( a ruler of sorts ).and the other side is smooth. The ribs and curvature of the tool/material made symmetry impossible, I probably get cleaner lines without it, shakiness and all. Oh, my other draw was just that - I’m shaky. I find it hard to get perfect wings ( also bc my hooded eyes) so I thought a tool would help. BUT what I didn’t think about ( and this is no fault to the product) is that in addition to now holding your product in one hand, you also have to use your other free hand to hold the tool in place, which again is not symmetrical. Leading me to my other gripe, when switching from one side of your face to the other, you have the flip the tool over to the other side, meaning any product ( black water proof mascara, long last waxy highly pigmented brow pomade, coal black creamy water resident eyeliner, etc) has gotten on one side, you flip it over and you’ve got a black smear across your beautifully beat 7 layer face makeup!!!! Unless, you want to get up, grab makeup remover and clean off the product after you do one side before switching to the other in order to clean the tool andAvoid product transfer.. next: I have weird brows, tried the shaper - no, just no. Brows are NEVER a one size fits all, not even the ones in your face. To have one singular shape choice on this is a miss. Oh and don’t get me started on the lip / cupids bow stencil - I was.doing laundry looking like the joker version of Lisa Rinna after giving this one a whirl.THAT SAID - cute idea. It’s useful, especially for people who have the time to sit there for hours due to seeking the PERFECT line(s). Due to the transfer and asymmetry, I just don’t find it necessary. I can get a better line with taking my time with my shaky hands and liquid liner stamps. This is fun, depending on your specific facial structure, you might find this a holy grail, especially if you like to play around with dramatic looks.Oh and the brush, it’s eating. I love it.
