For my deck building project, I decided that instead of the three foot level I use for small jobs, I would invest in a real tool that would help me build accurately and fast. After a lot of research, I settled on the Huepar 8211G Professional Green Laser. While waiting for the quick delivery, I built an adjustable "story stick" for use with the level (see pictures) On receipt of the laser, I noticed how well it was built - armored with rubber in all the right places and cleverly designed with multiple mounting options (tripod, stand, magnetic, freestanding, etc.). With story stick and laser in hand, I tested the device on the current cement slab. The instructions for use are quite simple but easily overlooked is how to put the batteries in.... yes, that would seem simple enough but if you don't use the nylon strap and weave it through the batteries as you insert them, replacing them will be very difficult as the battery chamber is quite tight. The device, when leveled within 4 degrees and "unlocked", can self-level to "0" and that was exactly how easy it was to get to a "0" starting point. After mounting the device on a stand, I placed a bi-directional bubble level on the carrier for the laser to get it within the 4 degree range (see photo). In bright daylight but under a patio cover, I was able to gauge the level of all the points on 12 x 24 ft. patio - what a difference. Normally it would take about 1 1/2 hours with a three-foot level and a lot of bending over to mark level variance but I essentially did the entire patio in about 12 minutes. Fantastic and very accurate as well. Putting the device away was easy too.... no complex things to do. Simply hold the master button down for several seconds and the device shuts off. Then, slide the lock switch to the locked position to lock all the gimbals and prevent damage to the device. Put it in its handy carrying case and you are off to the next project. With the patio test done, I went inside and tested all the other patterns this laser level has.... vertical, horizontal, plumb points, etc. Absolutely so easy, I wish I had done this years ago. I highly recommend this level for the homeowner who wants accuracy, durability and repeatability for their projects.

Seems to work good especially for the price. My only complaint is I cant pick which lasers I want on. For 90% of the work I will use it for I only need the vertical dots. But there is no option to turn off the vertical and horizontal line when I dont need them.

Great quality for the price. It does everything the expensive ones do but for a third of the cost. I use it on a construction site a couple times per week. I've dropped it and kicked it a few times, but it's still going strong. I'm pretty impressed with it's durability. I would definitely recommend this if you don't want to drop the full chick of money on a more expensive name brand.

Great,easy to use

Might be user error but I am an electrician and use levels daily, I’ll better test this out this coming work week but currently after receiving the laser and testing at home seems to differ about a half inch from start to finish which can lead to slanted light tracks for the kind of work I do. Being green and having plums ide still say it’s a good bang for your buck. ***edit Did a test with putting far left and far right of laser on same spot, seemed to line up, the laser is very visible , magnet on mount are solid, I have no complaints one week in. I will trust it as a commercial user.

Laser functions well overall compared to other models by brands like DeWalt, Klein, etc. I use it mostly for lining up boxes and light fixtures indoors as an electrician. The green laser is tough to see in brighter environments but while I typically work in the dark, this wasn't an issue. The laser did break within a month of receiving it from Amazon due to a small fall (~2 ft.) the Huepar team were quick to respond and send me a replacement under warranty. That's about the best customer service you can ask for today.

I use this laser every day for work and love it. I'm an electrician and do a lot of layout for pipes. The plumb dots are amazing, and the laser is plenty bright. The build quality is very impressive as well. Magnets are very strong and come in handy for laying out on studs. Would just recommend getting recharge batteries for the laser. If it ever breaks I will be buying the exact model again for sure.

I level the floor my 120 years old house. was perfect the floor is nice and level the only thing is the battery last only one day. I love it if you want to level your floor this is the tool you need.

For the price, it is well worth it! Saved a few hundred by going this route and was very impressed with the quality of the laser. Only issue is the button to turn it off is a little finicky but it’s a very minor complaint. Highly recommend

after 2 uses it was found that one of the battery "tabs" had broken and unit wouldn't power up. I contacted customer service on Sunday and on Monday they sent a response saying it would be replaced. The replacement unit was sent the following day. Great customer service - hoping the replacement will operate without issues.
