Wabash Valley Farms Whirley Pop Popcorn Color: Silver

I’ve previously used plain old pots or air poppers for my popcorn habit and this beats them both! Crunchy butFluffy, easy to not burn anything and pops almost all the kernels without burning. Totally worth the extra space in the kitchen for a one trick pony if you like popcorn. I wanted an oil popper because the air poppers make bad popcorn (the pot tastes better) and since this has a twenty five year warranty I went with it instead of the fully automated electric versions. Glad I did it. It pops so fast and vigorously (a near explosion) that I enjoy the brief moment of stirring. Plus the clean up is easier than an electric appliance so I think this is overall a time saver over the electric oil popcorn makers even including the stir time.

I grew up with this popper and when my old one finally broke, I didn't hesitate on buying a new one from the same brand. I also just tried the popcorn that came with it and it was so good! A little salty for my taste, but it did taste EXACTLY like the popcorn you buy at sporting events.

First time using it, every 2nd or 3rd turn the handle binds. Tried pushing down on gear and pushing handle towards center as I cranked and it seemed to help. Will try a couple more times before returning. Good tasting popcorn!

My first batch burned as my crazy burner got too hot and I added sugar for kettle corn. My fault. It cleaned up good and next batches were great!

Bought as gifts for Christmas. What a hit!For people watching movies at home now, this is the BEST popcorn, ever! The packets contain everything you need and 9 times out of 10 there is no waste. Literally every kernel pops!We have owned one for almost 10 years (and used it a LOT) and it still looks and works like the day we got it.
