I really enjoyed this book. It gets you up and running with R quickly and demonstrates how to use R in useful applications. It’s less of an R cookbook and more of a “learn statistics with R” text. Frankly, you can save your money 💰 paying tuition for a statistics course and just read this book. Good for intro to R. Good examples. Very difficult to find a specific topic in the index.

It’s been a lifesaver in my MBA class!

I grabbed the book to prepare for a class with coding. The book did not help a ton until I had gotten the basics down from the class. After taking the class, I have gone back through the book and understand it a lot better now. If you have a basic understanding (some good YouTube tutorials work wonders too) then this book can elevate your R coding to the next level.
