First off - this isn't a hair dissolving powder, it's a hair plucking powder. The idea is that you sprinkle it in, give it a rub, and it coats the hairs to get an easier grip to pluck. Only certain dogs will need this, most often characterised by ear infections.With that said, it's brilliant. I'd never used something like this before, but my puppy had an ear infection and the vet recommended it alongside treatment. It's nothing like baby powder, or chalk, or flour or anything like that. With this powder on the hairs, it feels completely dry (no moisture or wax leaks through) and getting a hold of them to pluck them is so easy (uncomfortable, but not painful as I understand it).Word to the wise, plucking the right hairs is easy to do, very little resistance. Plucking the wrong hairs is hard, and will stop you causing pain to the dog.It's good value for money (it keeps going), smells brilliant, and does the job! I'll keep using it to keep the infections at bay.

My dog has yucky ears for most of her 8 years. I have bought the usual bottles of ear cleaning products but they never seemed to work. So I bought this item dog shook her head a few times and we spent a peaceful night with no ear shaking or scratching.

Pooch wasn't a fan of this but that's not a reflection on the quality of the product it's due to her being a fuss pot. Can't say if it works as she wouldn't let me use it on her. Came in a sturdy container with a good applicator.

Brilliant stuff. Worked wonders on my cavapoos ears. Was able to pluck away with no pain and my girl was fine when doing so.

We have a cockerpoo who does get a build up of wax in her ears. She is only young and lets me wipe her ears with wipes. I thought this rather perturbingly named 'Ear Removal Powder' might be worth a try and have better results.Sadly the dog had different ideas - maybe she had read the name! Sadly the idea of a nozzle in her ear - however soft and well designed - met with firm resistance. So we never got to the ear massage part. She gives her apologies, but this product wasn't for her

My sister has a small dog which had been suffering from blocked ears for a while and kept scratching them with her paws. So thought we would give the Kurchugo dog ear cleaner powder a go.Initial results are positive the powder applied easily enough and the dog, although unsurprisingly not overly keen, didn’t complain too much which was a massive bonus. The powder worked fairly quickly and within a few days we had managed to remove a lot of excess hair and the build-up of waxy debris. The dog has significantly reduced scratching her ears – which I suppose is a good indication that the process is working.It’s still early days but will continue to use as part of a regular cleaning regime and hopefully this will prevent reoccurrence.

Itchy ears are very uncomfortable and can make a pet’s life a misery - removing excess hair growing in their ears helps keep them clear of wax and other debris, and lets air circulate around them, so having this at hand is a must.

This is a very helpful tool when plucking your dog's ear hair. It was easy to use and has no detectable smell. It kinda of looks like baking soda. Sometimes a lot puffs out at once, so just be careful.

Works perfectly.. makes ear hair coarse so that it’s able to be pulled out easily… definitely will purchase again but fought it will finish anytime soon due to bottle is pretty full and you don’t need much with each use..
