Q: Is the sole rigid or flexible?

Hi, it's quite rigid but soft - you can squish it I have worn them everyday single for work I'm on my feet quite a bit and do a fair bit of walking to. The shoes are extremely comfy and the velcro strap is great and have not pinched or rubbed at all

Bought a pr 12months ago, grey - and fitted perfectly - the latest pair did seem a little smaller though and much lower at the front. But otherwise they are so comfortable and light.

Yes they can be worn without socks. Not sure about a washing machine, they are a bit heavy, but I think you could hand wash them
