Needs patience and great care
This is a lovely model. There is a lot to do, it has taken me about four days to make. The first day was making books, files, and the bookcase. Very fiddly stuff, especially for someone like me (late sixties, fingers like sausages!).The instructions are very good, well laid out in colour and very detailed. For each step they show what to be assembled and the final assembly.Amazon suggested silicone glue. It must be remembered this is basically bathroom sealant, very messy. I quickly ditched that and used Loctite All Purpose Extra Strong instead. The 5 led lamps are referred to by number in the instructions. Number 1 is the shortest lead, number 5 the longest. When assembling the cable guides it is worthwhile not pulling the cable all through as the leads are much longer than they need to be. Also the kit includes transparent patches to stick the cables down. They are not very good. I glued the cables in place. All these are little niggles. As can be seen from the picture the model is lovely when it is finished. It is not difficult but needs patience. Also needed are tweezers, a sharp knife, and I also recommend miniature pliers to squeeze bits together.I really enjoyed making this and am very pleased with the final result. Thoroughly recommended.

Adorable - perfect chilled hobby
I bought this kit after seeing multiple book nook tiktoks. I'm so glad I did. It's absolutely adorable. It is fiddly at times but that personally adds to the enjoyment. The teeny tiny folders have little files inside them which I thought was very cute. You do have to cut out and stick a lot of parts unlike some of the tiktoks I've seen where it's stickers but it didn't take away from the enjoyment of building it.

A little fiddly, but looks really nice. Premium feel once built.
This one was a little harder to put together compared to some of the other Book Nooks I've done in the past, but once done, I was really happy with the result. Looks great. Good quality print, and sturdy. Price is really fair for the quality. Recommended for sure!

I bought this book nook for my wife, and when it arrived it was very well made with lots of little bits that bring character to the model.

AWFUL, TERRIBLE QUALITY
I'm not usually one to leave a review but this Book nook was so terrible that I feel the need too! I've had a few other booknooks that are a dream to put together and help me relax but this was a nightmare that nearly got thrown in the bin half way through! All of the printing on the pieces was misaligned and terrible quality, pieces don't fit together well if at all, lighting cables are a pain, made tangled so impossible to sort out fully, I haven't even attempted to put batteries in it to light it up because if I lift it to put batteries in I'm pretty sure it will fall apart! Definitely going to stick to my Rolife ones and finish all of the before experimenting, not worth the money!

A lot of fun but challenging
Having done all types of modeling in my life, this was a lot of fun. HOWEVER, it was a CHALLENGE, in a good way. This takes hours to put together and you DO need to glue many parts. Most parts were strong when punching out. Even with care, I broke 3, all of which had duplicates except one which I glued together. Probably took me a total of 6-8 hours. Materials were nice and the overall effect is cool. This would NOT be easy for a child.

a fun and creative project to work on
It's this awesome kit that lets you create your own miniature wooden dollhouse bookshelf insert. I couldn't wait to try it out!First off, let me tell you about how much I love this kit. It's not just a regular puzzle or decoration. When you put it together, it becomes this beautiful book nook that you can display on your shelf or desk. And the best part? It looks even better in the dark because it comes with sensor LED lights that turn on automatically when someone gets near it. How cool is that? Now, let's talk about the assembly process. At first, I was a little intimidated because I've never done anything like this before. But the instructions were super easy to follow, and each piece was labeled clearly, so I knew exactly where it was supposed to go. Plus, it came with all the tools I needed, so I didn't have to rummage around my house looking for stuff. It was like a puzzle, but way more fun!

My Little World of Wonder!
Opening this DIY Book Nook Kit was like unlocking a small wonderful universe. This kit was the ideal combination of my two hobbies as I like reading and crafts. The 3D wooden puzzle pieces had an incredible amount of detail, and assembling them was a fun task that kept me interested for hours. The completed book nook on my bookshelf is now more than simply a decorative accent—it'sa conversation starter thanks to the warm, entrancing glow that the LED light offers. It's incredible how a tiny change can change the appearance and atmosphere of my reading area. The joy of watching my tiny house come together was incomparable, and the directions were quite clear.

A nice book nook kit
I'm about halfway through this build, and it's going well. The pieces are pretty well constructed, and the instructions are pretty clear and thurough. I just wish that they were in color, because you have to rely on a star to tell you which side should be the finished side (if there is one). This kit also requires scissors and glue, and I highly recommend maybe investing in an eXacto knife because the stickers are not die cut like most kits are. You have to cut out each sticker yourself, and there is at least one where you have to cut out a hole in the middle of the sticker, which is why you probably need an eXacto knife. They do provide you with extras of more delicate pieces (like the candles on the candelabra, and yes, I did break the flame off of one) and the smaller pieces, which is really really nice. The kit does have you put together all the pieces of furniture etc before actually starting to build the nook itself, and I'm not sure if I like that or not--if you stop before getting to that point, you have to store the small pieces somewhere where they won't get lost or broken. I think I prefer building the small bits as we get to where they get placed while building the nook itself. But so far, everything looks really nice, and the directions are clear enough my biggest mistake was putting the legs on the chair on so the feet face inward instead of outward. The pieces that slot in, the slot has small indents that help hold the inset pieces in place, and that works really well as well as making a nice click when they are properly inserted.
