UPDATE: After less than a week using the product the seal failed and the gas cap caused my car to throw a dash light. It no longer tightens down like it did when I first got it. This gas cap is complete garbage, do not buy it.Old Review:I bought this gas cap because the little plastic part that you hang the gas cap with when you take it off broke. The gas cap itself fits and seals properly but the plastic hanger doesn’t fit at all. The Amazon product description said it fits my vehicle so it’s a bit disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend if you have a Chevy Impala because it will not fit.

Turn it 3 clicks to lock it as per usual with any fuel cap, it seems like it locks but then it turns way to easily the other direction and is no longer locked.. this works while I'm parked and to keep rain from getting in my fuel tank, and while I'm not touching it. but I'm afraid if I drive with it on, it's going to fall off

The cap it's self appears to be of good quality but the gasket or seal isn't. Like the other reviews stated and I just read them the product will fail you and cause your check engine light to come on.Don't be like me and miss your opportunity to return it. It didn't even check to see how the long the return window was, and usually I don't. I don't usually have issues with my purchase's. For me this shows how much confidence the makers of this product has in it's life cycle.
