I hate the sun
I hate the sun! I LOVE these visors because they eliminate the sun coming through my windshield as I am traveling east every morning. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and the quality is better than it looks in the picture. These things work great! Also I read a comment before my purchase that said they are see thru. However, I purchased the beige ones which are not see thru at all. Finally something that works for me!

Needs improvement, but works.
These work well enough, but since they could easily have lengthened the portion that holds onto the visor when extended so that it does not get so flimsy or fall off when extended to the max. Does the job when the sun is within the reach of the extender.

Waste of money
The frost is totally traslucid, it won't block the sun at all, I can recommend to use something else attach to it to actually block the sun, I can't complain because it cost me 3.26 warehouse deal but this isn't good at all, don't waste your money.

Way better than just having a visor but the fold-down tab should be twice as long.
This is way better than just having a visor. You can unsnap the visor and slide this to the right to block out center-windshield sun. You can move the visor to the left as in the photo, then slide the extender toward the back of the car to block side sun. I'm guessing that for fear that some would fold down the tab in such a way as to block the rear view mirror or side-forward view, and that must be the reason the fold-down tab isn't long enough to keep side sun off of the arms nearest the doors. So, sad to say, the fold-down tab is pretty much worthless, but still and all, sliding this extender as described above, makes driving much more pleasant on sunny days. UPDATE: It's a year and a half after having got these and still love them. I live in the South where the sun is strong - I drive south every morning to work with the sun on the left side of my face, and drive north every evening home from work with the sun on the left side of my face. These protect the left side of my face from sun damage. So glad I found them. They're still just like new.

I purchased these for use in my Subaru Impreza.I bought a few different types of shades because I couldn't decide which ones - these seemed like they might be too flimsy or cheap, but they have turned out to be my favorites of the lot. I needed something to extend the visor when the sun is on my left as the Impreza visors aren't adjustable at all and leave a large gap between the end of the visor and the rear of the door frame. The Impreza required the large size - be sure to measure your visors to make sure you get the right size.Others have complained that the sun shines thru these - and it does, but it certainly doesn't shine through brightly enough to be a problem at all. These shades are obviously, very light weight and adjustable. They are very easy to put on and remove, and can be stored in the seatback pockets when you don't want them on the visors. They easily slide back and forth. I don't need the drop down extension, so I just have them folded inside and out of the way. While they are made of "cheap" plastic, I expect they will last a long time - most likely the velcro would fail before the plastic. They could be improved with more velcro, or some other type of fastener. (Perhaps a strong magnetic strip?)Highly recommended!

really happy with these for the price -- even if the ...
This product works exactly as advertised -- it blocks the sun in a number of different ways, especially if your car doesn't have extending sun visors. Also, the customer service is exemplary -- I was able to make sure I was ordering exactly the right product that would fit my car's visors perfectly. Really, really happy with these for the price -- even if the Arizona sun destroys them in a couple of years, I'd buy them every two years, as they're totally worth the money.

It does do a good job of blocking the sun
This is an OK product. It does do a good job of blocking the sun, however, I feel more heat radiating from the sun hitting it.

Doesn't do it's job.
This product doesn't do any good for sun glaring at you from the side. It's made out of a thin translucent plastic and doesn't do the job well at all. They should have used something opaque to really block out the sun, like your visor. Don't waste your money.
