Photon Tactical X-Light Micro

Update: This morning I went and got my jacket on and this x-photon light 'which is normally attached to my jackets zipper pull' had its battery cover just fall right off onto the floor and I went to put the battery cover back on but it will not stay closed no matter what I do.I have not had this problem with the photon freedom or the photon II and I've had them much longer then I've had this x-photon light, so I suggest getting one of those two photon lights instead.I wish the photon company would make a rechargeable photon light that plugged into a USB port like a thumb flash drive does, and they should make the body of the light out of glow in the dark materials so you can find your photon in pitch darkness.I already have this light, but with the glow in the dark on/off button and I am so impressed with how bright these little lights are that i bought this one with the black on/off button. But one of the reason I bought this black buttoned one was because i thought the on/off button might be made out of durable plastic instead of being made out of soft rubber. But even though the on/off button is made out of soft rubber, hopefully it will still last for a long time.I can see about 50 feet away with this light.I like to glue little glowing particles onto this light so I can find it easier in the dark. I just buy a small Paqlite from Wiggy's. com and I cut the little clear pouch open and use the glowing particles that are inside the little pouch.Very good light for your jackets zipper pull, but if you want a great light for your keyring or gear pouch, then buy the Photon II light because this x-light and the Photon freedom light will come on inside your pocket or pouch and drain the batteries.You can make this light not come on when you accidentally press the button. Just quickly press the button over and over again until you notice it only comes on when you press the button but it doesn't stay on when you have released the button. Then to get it back to normal so it will come on and stay on when you push the button, just hold the button down and the light will come on and as soon as the light goes out release the button. This same exact thing works with the photon freedom light as well.This is how to use this light.1. Hold the button down until the light turns off. Once the button turns off from you holding the button down, it will be out of demo mode and then it will stay on when you push the button.2. From the light being off hold the button down and it will ramp from low to high brightness, then just continue to hold the button down and it will scroll through all of the different modes of this light. It has slow blink, that blinks once about every 8 seconds, then hold down the button again until it goes into faster blink that does a blink faster, then hold down the button again and it will go into strobe mode, then hold the button down again and it will go into s.o.s. mode. Then to get it out of the modes and back to regular on off mode, just press the button once.3. You can also turn the light on and then hold down the button down until you get to the desired brightness level you want, or just keep holding down the button until the light turns off and then goes into one of it's blinking modes.
