Steam machine D2

First one we bought stopped working after 2-3 uses. Had to get a replacement which so far is working well. Hopefuly it will last long, as it is a really nice small steamer. We also have a couple of Stirling engines and would recommend you look into those if you like engine models.

I bought one of these for our son at Christmas. It only runs for a couple of minutes then stops and you have to wait for another couple of minutes before it starts running again. The plastic syringe supplied also broke the first time our son used it. I wrote to the manufacturer on 2nd Jan to ask how to claim a refund but they did not answer. Now it looks like I will have to work out how to claim a refund through Amazon. I have bought lots of items from them in the past (mainly books and computer parts) but this is the first thing which has failed to work as advertised so I'm not sure how easy this is going to be.

Brilliant little engine! Runs smooth as anything

What a brilliant little steam engine and my first steam engine i have own. I just given mine a first run and i found it amazing looking at it.

Very disappointed with it. Won't run on a candle, if you run it on meths,boiler melts and catches fire, also the plastic holder melts. Very dangerous!!! Only use for it is an ornament!

Could watch it for hours but only lasts about 10 mins

The media could not be loaded.  This is a perfect little engine. I replaced the candle with a little Bohm Stirling meths burner. I keep the wick trimmed to avoid overheating. It burns for a good 20 mins this way. Had it a few years now and still love firing it up.
