This was a good snow day craft idea for the littles. A fun way to spend time with the kiddos doing hands-on crafts.

Granddaughter loves crafts, stimulate the mind and be creative

Pros:Three sets of project types you can do with the enclosed craft kit: paint + glow in the dark paint / accents; paint + decorate with 3D butterflies; paint / decorate a wooden ornament + glue diamonds on the wood slice.Seems a reasonable price for up to 30 wood slices that could be decorated and then given as gifts.Cons:I had to leave the package open for a couple of days before examining it due to an unidentifiable odor.Oddly there was a packet of dinosaur temporary tattoos included in my kit, along with some sparkly stickers that I don’t think are intended to be used on the wood slices.Conclusion:My kids (younger than the indicated age range of 6-12) will enjoy the bigger parts of painting these wood slices on rainy days this fall. I will enjoy adding to their wood slices and turning them into ornamental gifts for family.

Great value for the cost. Lots of tools and variety. Adorable fun!

I tutor for our school’s 21st Century After School Enrichment program. I’m always on the lookout for fun crafts and activities for my class. These wooden discs were fun for decorating holiday ornaments. I did not use the paints that were provided for the group, I used my own set of acrylic paint and the school’s brushes, but when I got home, I used the entire set for the remaining discs. The paints and brushes worked well but I found that I was less than proficient at applying the gems 😅. I also discovered that the wooden slices can shed their bark. This wasn’t a big deal to me, but some may find it a minor annoyance.I would love to purchase this kit again for class use and personal fun. I think it’s a worthwhile class or home craft.

Full discloser we got this through the Vine program. My daughter got this for our other daughter for her Christmas gift. Our daughter will love making different creations, however, I would never pay almost $30 for this. The quality is not worth it. I think they throw in a lot of filler to make it feel like your getting tons for the value, but you're really not. I'm not sure what the point is of the temporary tattoos, the pictures suggest that you put them on the wood, but I think actual stickers would be a much better option or just none at all. They also throw in these tassel things, I'm assuming they think they'll look good if you tie them on, but to me they look stupid and honestly don't need to be included. I would be willing to pay around $15 for this, but definitely not more than that.

My grandkiddos had so much fun making glow in the dark ornaments to hang outside on the porch for Christmas.
