Does what I want for the price
In short, this is a pretty good headset. It's not great, but it's cheap and it works if your phone fits. The Good: Fit wise it is pretty comfortable for both myself, a man with a larger head, and my wife, a woman with an average head. The adjustments are easy. It's fairly easy to put your phone in, and it connects to built-in audio. The audio sounds good and seems to track the 3D well. The depth and eye placement knobs are useful. The Bad: The thing is poorly balanced with a large phone in it. It definitely has a forward tilt and it can be uncomfortable on the neck. If you try to watch a full 3D movie on this your neck will likely be sore if you have a heavy phone. While I do like the knobs that adjust my view, if you want to block out the eye divider in the center you need to zoom them in enough to cut out some of the image as well.If you're looking for something cheap to view 3D content/play 3D games and understand the limits, I highly recommend this device. The controller works fine for any phone game, the set does its job of putting you in the 3D world. I enjoy immersion of 3D content and now that I've had regular exposure to it through this device I'm considering moving on to something like the HTC Vive. It's a good jumping off point if you aren't sure of 3D yet, already have a decent phone, and want to try it out on the cheap.

Controller useless for iOS
The headset works pretty well, once you get figured out. Using Google VR apps requires calibration settings which apparently many headset makers provide with a QR code printed on the headset or in the instructions. This headset doesn’t come with that. I found the “Sites in VR” app (iOS) as it includes a calibration tool for matching your phone to the headset, and then it lets you create a QR code to use (which you’ll have to save or print so you can then scan it using your phone). The VR Shinecon controller is worthless for iOS VR use. I’ve only found it able to manipulate your music, or release your camera shutter, neither of which were the intended use for me. I don’t think I would’ve bought this headset if I’d known the controller was useless.

Good if you want something basic
Product build quality is good, the headphones are pretty good. I would have liked if the sound would connect via Bluetooth. I didn't think about that when purchasing it. The listing is clear in what it does so it's not the fault of the product. It's good for the money but didn't blow me away.

Received a different headset then shown.
The headset I got is worth 5. This is getting a 3 because I received a different headset then what was shown and what other customers have shared. Plus the remote doesn't work. It just won't power on. Here's what I got.

Product defect and useless remote
I like the headset. Although one of the ear phones is loose and moves out of place.. Possibly a product defect. It takes effort to move the other earphone. The remote however is useless. Can't play any games using the LG V20. The only thing the remote does is adjust volume or back out of the game. For example, no steering in a racing game.
