Lovely Items - Minimal light gets through (if any), appears to help maintain the room temperature well. I would repurchase in another colour. Definitely measure the size required - I didn't the first time! Grey colour may be slightly off but much of that could be due to lighting.

To address its claims on the product description page.Comes exactly as photo.The curtains are good material, good feel to it. Does not feel cheap. Not that I am any fabric expert.It's not lightweight per curtain standards, but it is light weight compared to other black out curtains.But it also isn't a full blackout curtain, just a black colored curtain that blocks most light. You can see light coming through in small holes if the sun is shining directly at the curtain for the other side. It won't reflect any visible light spots inside the room.Overall, a good product. We find it amazing and does the job of blocking light and reducing indoor temperature very well. exactly the product for you if you want less light right in your face or to reduce screen glare. But not total darkness.If you are looking for a proper total black out curtain, this would not be it so save your money and find a different product.

Absolutely stunning curtains for a fantastic price. I ordered the dark grey and they truly are black out. I never write a review and I usually order curtains from next £60+ so finding these at a fraction of the price and brilliant quality I am just so pleased. The material is so thick and soft. I love them!

These curtains are a wonderful color, have great weight, and block out quite a lot of the light, so really great at night. The curtains are of great quality and really happy with both the purchase and the price for them. Excellent buy and I would recommend them.

Looks nice and easy to hang up. You could get better but they’re worth it for the price.

I was very close to sending these back for a refund, based on the fact that they aren't particularly dark, (considering they are advertised as dark grey) the material is very thin, and the acoustic and thermal properties are questionable.However, they do a reasonably good job of providing a blackout, the curtain rings seem quite sturdy, and the colour actually isn't unpleasant (even though I really wanted a DARK grey).The material is quite lightweight, but it's quite pleasant to the touch. It was a bit creased when I took it out of the packaging - which possibly wouldn't have been an issue had the material been heavier - but that's nothing I can't sort out with a steamer. One interesting issue is going to be how well they stand up to having the windows open if there's any wind outside. My previous curtains were about 50% heavier (at a guess) and they held up against the wind reasonably well. I'm not sure these will. That said, I haven't added any tie backs (yet) so this is not a showstopper.The colour is identical on both sides, which is what I wanted. Several other producs had different colour linings. Note that in the photo I have the interior lights on, which is why the room doesn't look especially blacked out! Also, there is light leakage from the sides, because the curtain pole extends out a bit more than average from the wall. This isn't an issue for me. I'm not looking for a total blackout, just to stop direct sunlight coming in.I have no way of measuring the difference in thermal insulation between these and my old curtains, and I would say that this is just a bit of advertising puff and not to be taken seriously. Similarly with the acoustic properties. I can't discern any differences in keeping external noise out, making sure internal noise does not get out, or in acoustically treating my room against early reflections and other unwanted acoustic artefacts. It was the implied acoustic properties that made me buy these curtains in the first place, and I don't think they score well in this regard. Secondary to this was the blackout properties and I give that 4 out of 5 in terms of how effective they are. You certainly can't see any light through the material itself. Thermal insulation wasn't on my decision list but again, I can't discern any tangible improvement. I'll review that in the summer to see if it keeps the room cooler, but at the moment (mid spring) it's certainly not keeping the room any warmer.All that said, I will be keeping the curtains and telling clients who visit the studio that they have special acoustic properties that help them sing better :-)

Looked everywhere for decent blackout curtains in the colour I wanted, and am so glad I found these. Lovely material and hang great. Just hung them today so still creased, but I'm sure the creases will drop out over the next few days. They do a really good job of darkening the room even in bright daylight

Acheté une première fois dans une autre taille (moins large) très satisfaite de la qualité (bien occultant, aspect très qualitatif (doux, beau tombé, lavable) avec un prix doux et racheté dans une autre couleur (avec une taille difficile à trouver pour une verrière dans chambre 168 de large mais seulement 138 de long presque introuvable ou du surmesure avec un prix x 3)
