I have owned the Merkur Futur and many of it's clones. This razor is better than the Futur and any of it's clones. The hinge design is much safer and more efficient for changing razor blades than popping the top off with the Futur.And the rollers make shaving very smooth. I use it with Feather blades for the closest shave possible and it does an excellent job.

Handle nice and heavy although a bit short .Holder is a very useful addition. If you started shaving with a safety razor and want a more economical blade source besides the multi blades system. Give this a try. The blade angle has fiber e settings.

This shaver is probably the best I've ever encountered. Easy to adjust and change blades. Great solid heft. But I think the best part is the novel stainless steel roller in front of the each blade edge. It causes the razor to literally GLIDE across your face. Reminds me a little of shaving with a brand new Bic Metal razor, which had the thin wire in front of the blade. So great, I bought a second one for when we stay away from home. Great value for the money too! Awesome overall!

This product has a nice weight to it that comes primarily from the handle of the straight razor. It operates and functions very similarly to a Merkur Futur razor but has the nice benefit of having these rollers which can help with the perception of having a smoother shave. The main disappointment that comes from owning this straight razor also comes from the same thing that makes it unique.Unlike the other Futur clones out in the market, this safety razor does not have any drain holes on its baseplate. Not having any drain holes makes it much more difficult to clean. What’s worse is that when it was disassembled for cleaning I found out that the baseplate is made of PLASTIC. Honestly, if you are trying to decide wether to choose this model over another Futur clone I would choose the other option that is fully made of metal without roller bars.

I use vintage style safety razors almost exclusively. I have modern and classic versions of razors that span this price point up into the many many hundreds of dollars per unit. This razor is as good as razor's costing one or $200 more! I shaved with it the day I received it, and I am going to buy a couple more just to have to give as gifts!

Not very expensive, but very good balance. Easy to control, blade is adjustable. Very easy to use with no fear of cuts, nicks. Surprisingly smooth, very easy to adjust and control.

A very hard pass for me, make sure to be very carful when using this product.

I really like the weight of this razor. I prefer ones that are heavier vs lighter. I do think the turning action is a little too easy. I would prefer if it were more stiff. This is a very good razor for the price. You are getting a good solid razor. The blades that come with it are good. You should get a few shaves before replacing it. Safety razors are the way to go. It is a much better value compared to the big named overpriced razors. You can’t go wrong with this razor.
