Glad I found Sunnyland Mills Bulgar Wheat. First, the sweet wheat is much more pleasant and neutral than the red wheat brands. The Sunnyland Mills bulgar complements instead of competes with the other ingredients in a grain bowl or salad. The bulgar also seems fresher to me. Its uniform in color and doesn’t show signs of sitting in a hot warehouse somewhere. Bulgar is becoming my pantry staple of choice. It is loaded with protein and vitamin B, and has a low GI load that doesn’t spike blood sugar. Good for my digestive system. A rare value in an inflationary economic environment. Absolutely recommend.
