The book is very interesting and there were times when I couldn't put it down. There were some editing mistakes, and sometimes the pacing is a bit rushed, but it was overall a fun read.

Wow. I absolutely loved this book so much. The couple it’s based around is Jake and Becca. It was an emotional rollercoaster.. with many ups and downs. There is passion,steamy intimate scenes, some drama and a motorcycle club. Jake and Becca’s interactions happen because she’s researching MC’s for her book. HEA. Highly recommend this book. These two have so much personal baggage! This whole relationship is doomed from the start. Jake never had an easy life at home as child. Becca lost her father at a young age and then married a horrible man. The shared trauma between them is what they bonded over. But it is also what tore them apart. Wow! What an incredible emotional experience in a book! The relationship between Bec and Jake was magic. The way they leaned on each other and found solace in each other was beautiful. The sex was steamy hot. Bec and Jake’s emotional relationship really dominated this book (but not in a bad way). There are some intense flashbacks that were a bit surprising to me, but overall, I felt that this book was quite well written. Although at times it puts your emotions through the ringer, the plot really keeps you in it easily and it was hard to not fall in love with Bec and Jake.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Bec and Jake meet because she's doing research on the MC club. She's had a rough past and so has he. This is one thing that they seem to bond over. This was a good read. I can't wait for more.

This book was so oddly sweet. I loved how the main characters healed each other in a way. Becca was too sweet for the world and jake was so scared but deep down sweet and loving. I can’t wait to see what happens to summer and Tony. I loved how tough Becca was also. OH. MY. GOD!!!I’ve always liked MC romance but they haven’t been at the top of my ‘love to read’ pile. Until that is Ashlynn Pearce and the first book ‘On Edge’ arrived on my kindle.What an absolutely compelling and addictive read. The emotions jump up and pull you in, the depth creating a beautiful, magical world that I wasn’t ready to leave at the end of the book.Jake is such a beautifully damaged soul. Hiding his need for love and acceptance behind his stoic alpha persona. The pain he endured as a child is a pain no child should have to be subjected.The sheer fact that he’s still functioning is a testament to his strength of character. While he may not be a poster boy for clean living, he is the epitome of a soul deep bad boy with a heart of gold for the person who couldManage to see past his abruptness, his cold ‘don’t screw with me’ persona.Jake is a truly beautiful character. His flaws simply make him that much more appealing. The urge to reach through the pages and tell him that I saw the man behind the mask and he was beautiful was like an itch I couldn’t scratch. Not to mention that the man was seriously hot!!!Bec. If I could have swapped places with her I would have in a heartbeat. She may be small in stature but mentally she is as strong as an ox.Watching her piece her life back together was awe inspiring. The pain she went through no doubt changed her, but from my standpoint it changed her in a good way. She’s a strong woman, even if it takes her time to realise that, she’s open, her soul as beautiful as her looks.Watching Jake and Bec battle their demons was heart rendering. They understood each other on a level no other could. Watching them get to know each other from the inside out was so spellbinding it was blinding. Their chemistry, passion and connection to each other was mind blowing, bright enough to light the darkest of nights.I cannot wait to read the rest of this series.I could not recommend this book highly enough.20 million star review
