Total Fluide LDS Hydraulic Suspension Citroen C5, C6 2x1L = 2 Litre

My Citroen is 15 years old and I do not think it has ever had new LDS fluid since the beginning. Well heres my story which led to purchasing this fluid which by the way works great. I drive my kids to school whenever I can and the curbs by the school are rather high so I use the Citroens suspension raising function to give my exhaust clearance but the car failed to raise one day and I stupidly then pressed the lower button whilst outside the school to test the button itself. The car indeed lowered to the floor and said stop but then would not raise again. I had to go to work and did not want to leave the car outside the school so drove very slowly home and left the car there until I had a day off. I looked online for a solution which people pointed to the maxi fuse and also the cylinders which can sometimes fail. I checked the fuse and all was ok (nightmare to get to) I then looked at all the cylinders and could not notice any leaks or cracks. I then checked the LDS fluid level and notice I had none at all and thought I should top this up. There was a large hiss when I unscrewed the cap which is hidden under plastic on the left hand side of the engine bay and there are also warning signs saying not to mess with this system but alas I ignored these. I ordered this fluid which came quickly and my car took two of these tubs which brought the level up to the base of the filter inside the cap. I then started the car and pressed the raise button and guess what nothing happened at all no sign on the dashboard to say the car was raising and no pump noise. So I did what most men do and slammed the bonnet and went in the house to sulk. On my next day off I went back to the car to see if the magic mechanic fairies had been and fixed the car in my absence but they had not. My wife by this time was telling me to scrap the car and get another but I liked this old car and the ride when she was working was very smooth. I decided in my infinite wisdom to ignore the stop sign on the dashboard and drove the car round the block I went up a steep hill and within 400 metres the car raised itself and displayed drive on the dashboard which was great. I then took the car back to the driveway and turned it off. Now when I normally unlock the doors I hear the pump kick in and adjust the cars stance but this did not happen but the car dashboard did not display stop and the ride was smooth. The car also would not raise to higher levels but still would lower to the stop level and the only way to raise the car was to drive it a little way. So I concluded the pump would work with engine pressure but not via the button and I did not touch the raise/lower buttons for about a month until one day when I unlocked the car I heard the pump adjust the car and when I started the car I pressed the raise button and the car sprang into life. I adjusted the car to the top setting and all the way to the floor and back up to drive a few times to circulate the fluid and all has been great since. I am by no means a mechanic as you may have guessed but I also did not have to pay dealership prices to fix my issue just purchased two bottles of this fluid and spent some time fixing the issue.

Brilliant quality of TOTAL , this is for the Citroen C5 for the suspension which needs to be LDS type , also good price for buying 2 . If needed will buy again .
