I have a rat terrier and beagle mix. She’s currently at 28 pounds, but could use to lose a few. I ordered a black/yellow medium, but had to exchange it for a small. The exchange was very quick. I think this coat is a little oversized, but highly adjustable. It is easy to put on, and I like the fact that the Velcro straps wrapped up and around the dogs back. She looks really warm in this coat. I will probably order a different color for next year because my husband seems to feel a little embarrassed walking with a bumblebee. I ordered black and yellow because those are my husband’s company colors and he takes the dog with him a lot to work. Oh well - I think she looks cute. PS – she has a very large chest and this coat fits well around her chest for a change.

Get a size up if your pup is growing. While I got a medium using the size chart, it didn't fit only a couple times. As soon as he played the velcro broke free. Looking forward to passing it on to a smaller friend

Exactly what I wanted… Lightweight and comfortable yet toasty. Runs a little large so I bought one size down which fits my short haired, barrel chested 58 pound mutt well. Super easy to put on. He doesn’t fuss about it so I believe it’s quite comfortable. One year later now and I bought a second jacket for my friends, dog, a Brittany spaniel. It fits perfectly in a large, which is one size smaller than my dog wears. They have a cabin in snow country, and this jacket keeps their dog warm even inside where the heat by fireplace. It’s comfortable enough to stay on inside and warm enough for at night. Perfect outside in the snow as well. It washes great and dries quickly. I just love this jacket!

Nice coat, but could be longer. Not really good for really cold weather

Great price for a large-size (XXL) dog coat. Goes on and off easily. My senior dog never wore a coat or any clothing for that matter before, and he doesn't mind it a bit. I bought this because I wanted something long enough to cover his back end, low back, hips and thighs as he is starting to lose strength there and muscle mass due to age, and this coat comes all the way to his tail, and drapes down over the top of his thighs. I don't know how well it will hold up - time will tell.

I purchased 3 of these. 1 at a time.. They are easy to put on. water repellent . Kept our dogs dry from snow and rain in the mountains.Have to return 1 because stitching came off velcro on one side of a strap but Im sure its no problem.

It seems very warm even though it's not very heavy. I like the fleece inside and the windbreaker material on the outside. She leg me put it on quite easily. Even though this is the correct size, it is a little long between the collar and the middle velcro strap. Creates a bit of excess material on her front legs when laying down but doesn't appear to bother her
