My older cat is an outside cat in NJ . Cold winters . Put this in a small dog house on porch for my cat . Been using this for 4 years now . Bought a second one also . Works great . Def recommend .

I really like this bed, it get nice and warm when it cold and my boston terrier who is 3 months old loves to lay on her bed with this mat under it. However she has found a way to chew thru the cord which is suppose to be chew proof while i was doing other things around my house. Now i cant blame her because she is a puppy and doesnt know better but im just thankful this was not plugged in when she did chew thru it because we would be having a major issue so be careful if you do buy this product.

I purchased two of these for my cats and they are perfect! I got the large size and I have one set up outside in the cat house (covered area) for my cats this winter and they both love it and are curled up in their cat house every evening to stay nice and cozy. I have the other one inside for my older dog and cat to share on the couch. I have them set up on smart plugs with Alexa and they have been running flawlessly and my animals greatly appreciate the warmth without it getting too hot for them! These are perfect and 100% recommend.

I wanted a larger pad for my medium size dog. This was perfect in size and worked great when I got it. Unfortunately after several days it stopped working, even though the power light on the controller came on when I switched the pad on. I looked for a possible reset button or place where I might replace a fuse, but could find no reset or any way to access the unit without popping off some plastic pieces and perhaps damaging it. As a result I was forced to return the pad and gave it a two star rating.UPDATE 3/28/18: After returning the original pad to Amazon and receiving my refund, I was contacted by the vendor. In no way was I ever dissatisfied with this vendor prior to returning the product. The vendor was very disappointed I had not contacted them directly so they could respond to my problem. They told me the failure was an uncommon factory defect. But they wanted me to know they stand behind their products. They then offered to send me a free new pad over and above the refund I had already received. This new pad is now happily heating my dog's bed and so far it's been working perfectly. Hoping it stays that way as I really do like this product.

I had trouble with two out of three of these mats. They stopped working. But it may have been my fault. I was using them on high continuously. The seller recommends they be used on high only to start out, and then be switched to low. In any event, after I posted a negative review, the seller made it right and gave me a full refund, even though the 30-day window had closed. So customer support is good, and I can't complain.

This is a quality heating pad.After using this one for about a week, I bought 2 more smaller ones for different spots in the house. My cats love them.It's nice and thick, warm, moisture resistant, and most importantly, it stays ON until I want it off. (Many heating pads and blankets have auto-off. This one stays on until you turn it off.)
