I loved that the fruits and vegetables were cut in half and attached to Velcro. However, I found the plates and cutting board too small for the proportions. The cutting board and knife are great fun when used to cut produce through the Velcro, giving the feeling of actually cutting produce with the sound it produces as the knife rubs through the Velcro. The knife, even though not sharp and plastic, shouldn't be used unsupervised.

This set is really good and super educational. Realistic slicing, good Velcro adherence. The colors of the food items in correlation with the buckets for sorting and storage are great. The variety of food items is superb. My 1 year grandson as well as his older brothers love playing with this set. Don’t hesitate to get this set. I’m sending one as a gift to another child that is turning one next month.

This is a cute set. I like that it comes with different baskets & labels for color sorting, as well as for play. It will help children learn colors & names of food items.It's a creative plus, that the fruits & veggies can be cut open & they make a noise as the knife's being sliced through them. Some of the fruits & vegetables are highly detailed inside, showing what pulp & seeds look like. Others have no detail inside at all, which is disappointing. The hamburger is really cute since you can separate the buns, meat & lettuce.There are plates but no utensils so I'll need to pick up a few sets. This is a cute set for pretend shopping & pretending food preparation. I do wish it came with utensils & cups to complete the set. I'd like it if the cutting board were solid, rather than open in the back. Also, I should mention that parts of the handle came off of the knife. I'll glue it before letting my child play with it. The manufacturers may want to assure the knife is glued at the factory. Another thing I'd like to mention is that the fruits & veggies a kind of hard to pull apart. The manufacturers may want to consider using a smaller piece of Velcro to fasten the pieces together. It was not easy for me as an adult to separate the pieces so I'm sure it will be a challenge for children. But I imagine that after they've been played with for a while & the Velsro becomes a little worn, the pieces will come apart more easily.

Bought this for my son for Christmas and he loved the vibrant colors and the ability to “cut” his food in half. Great set for kids with kitchebettes. Similar to the food we saw at a children’s museum.

The very first use of the knife - it cracked. Whoever packed the box doesn't know their colors! I got two brown 'food' baskets and didn't get a 'red' basket. How do preschoolers sort colors if they don't have the right color basket?

Love this product my daughter really enjoys playing with them

This is a Christmas gift for my grand daughter. She loves doing her colors and doing things in like groups. She’s going to love these.

Poor quality items. Knife was broken. The yellow bucket was dirty from inside.
