The dress is even more beautiful in person. The fabric is smooth and has enough weight to it to, both the jacket and the gored skirt, so it drapes beautifully. The jacket is lined and has gently padded shoulders. The fabric is not at all opaque so you needn’t worry about wearing a camisole or half slip. The length is mid-calf (I am 5’6” tall); it will look gorgeous with high heeled shoes. The dress really looks and feels like it came from a high end dress shop. I am so happy to have ordered this for a wedding I’ll be attending next month. Couldn’t be more pleased.

I bought this to wear to my son’s wedding and was very happy with it. The color is a nice deep eggplant, and the fabric has good weight and doesn’t easily wrinkle. I received many compliments on the dress. The sparkles around the neckline add a dressier touch and no necklace is needed. It was just right for a Fall or winter occasion.

This is a lovely shade of eggplant. It "feels" expensive, is well-made. However, my sis-in-law was unable to attend my son's wedding... THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR RETURN FOR 30+ DAYS- EVEN IF RETURNED PERFECTLY, ON-TIME, ETC!

I ordered this dress with jacket to wear as a guest to a formal wedding. When I saw it on the website I thought this would be made from a knit fabric although I now realize it is not described that way. Something about the photo just made me assume that’s what it would be. I did not care for the fabric that the outfit is made from. Nothing wrong, just not what I was expecting. It is thinner than what I was hoping for. The eggplant color itself is pretty. I tried it on and I liked the streamlined look of the jacket over the dress and the jeweled embellishments around the neck opening. I ordered a size down from what I normally wear as the previous reviews noted that the dress is a tad on the larger side and I found that to be true because the size down was a good fit. Overall, a pretty outfit but not for me. I returned my order on this one.

This dress is fully lined and so well made. It fits beautifully and very flattering. I bought it for a fall wedding; it was perfect!!

Dress was for my grandson’s wedding day. It was beautiful, well made and fit perfectly. I bought it through the “try and buy” Amazon program. It was a big help to me because I am 87 and don’t have the stamina for clothes shopping anymore.Got many, many compliments on how pretty the dress was and it made me feel like I could fit in with all the other dressy wedding attire.

I searched & searched for a dress for my son's wedding! I needed something simple for an outside, early evening wedding in July's brutal heat. I liked this dress because: It was long enough but not ankle-length. It had 3/4 length sleeves which was good for me since I am old. The chest was too big for me but I took the straps up about 3 inches and the top draped very nicely. The material did not wrinkle. I did not like the sequin beaded trim so I painstakingly removed it with a seam ripper. (I tested the removal on the back of the dress first so it would be covered up if removing the trim was a mistake)! It was just too much bling for me!! Overall, it was a bit of work but I was very happy with the dress!

I ordered this dress for$129. 71, unfortunately fit to big. I'm ordering a smaller size,and the price two day's later$221.26. How this can be ? I don't understand.i love the dress.
