Instant relief for post tibial tendon, flat foot, and over pronation
I damaged my foot years ago and the post tibial tendon and flat foot have plagued me ever since. I've tried tons of different inserts and other correctors to help, but nothing worked well. After a long search, I finally decided on these, and couldn't be happier with the results. The over pronation of my left foot had been causing severe pain, but as soon as I put these in my shoes, the relief was instant. These are very sturdy (unlike others that I tried, which only flattened out when standing) , and the heel cup is deep enough to keep the foot in the correct position. Without using this, the tendon weakness was causing all my weight to rest on the inner foot. This support helps balance the weight to take the pressure off the tendon. I've even noticed that I can now consciously try to strengthen the tendon by using the outer portion of my foot for support. I've had to stop walking barefoot (which I love)...even in the house. I put these in easy to slip on shoes for around the house. so I don't further damage by walking barefoot. I do still use wraps, and a brace at times....depending what I'm doing, but I've noticed that I have almost as much support with these arches as I do with the brace. The brace helps to keep my ankle and foot from moving much, but doesn't address the need for my heel to be positioned correctly. The supports are very firm, but they need to be for my needs.....a softer one wouldn't work. The higher arch , along with the heel pocket, have helped my flat foot (only left) so much in the 3 weeks I've been using it, that I can now do strengthening exercises for my arch and tendon. I know that this is a long process, but these supports have helped more than anything else I've tried. Don't hesitate if you have any of the same issues....these will help.

Great for my flat feet during my workout
Works great with my shoes for spinning and elliptical exercises. I feel less pain on after workout due to my severe flat feet. So far better than my orthodics.

Provide great arch support but they are hard.
These insoles provide great arch support, but I found them to be too hard on the soles of my feet. These are a great product, but they did not work for me.

Literally Life Changing! Fixed my unbearable ankle pain from walking long distances!
I have had ankle pain since I went to Las Vegas and walked 25 miles in one day. I don’t know if it was walking on carpets in the casino, or just the fact that I walked incorrectly for 25 miles. I have had horrible ankle pain since, and I would have to sit down and I would be in almost tears when I did anything over 10,000 steps. I realized by walking, that it was pronation of my ankle going inward. So I found this product by searching for something to try out! I have just walked around 15,000 steps at a Fair without any pain!! My legs don’t even hurt or feel tired. My legs and feet would always be tired after walking this much, even before my ankle issue. I was about to go to the foot doctor and drop a lot of money for custom orthotics. I didn’t have to do that! So thankful for this product :) this is life changing. This is definitely worth a try!

Excellent Instep Support, but sadly, didn't work for me
1/24/21 - FitFeet Orthotic Inserts (3/4 Length, High Arch Support Foot Insoles for Over-Pronation ... Shoe Inserts for Running Sports Men and Women, S(Men's 4-6.5, Women's 6-8.5)II just bought several pairs of shoes. They are casual athletic-type everyday shoes, not really athletic shoes. It used to be that if it was size 7, it fit me. It didn't matter if they were heels, athletic shoes, casual shoes, boots, sandals, flipflops, leather or fabric or some other manmade material. That doesn't seem to be the case any longer. What I discovered is that some manufacturers have tendencies towards certain foot characteristics--narrow or wider foot, high arch or flat feet, narrow or wider heels, etc. People's feet vary so greatly, it must be very difficult for manufacturers to develop footwear that fits everyone, even within a specific size.I was interested in inserts because the shoes I purchased didn't have much support. I also have over pronation. While I was searching the endless options for inserts, I saw this insert as an Amazon Lightning Deal. (I must say, the inserts are $1 less expensive today than they were during the Lightning Deal!) They seemed to address my needs so I purchased them.I liked the 3/4 foot length because they wouldn't take up space around my toes so my toes would still have a little wiggle room. The arch feels excellent! These inserts have great support and the design restricts movement so that my ankles aren't "sloppy" (over pronation). Overall, these inserts made my feet felt great! The problem I encountered was that the length of the back part of the inserts were a little short. They were probably short by just a couple of millimeters, but those 2 millimeters were crucial to my ability to wear them. The inserts are made of a hard, manmade material. They don't flex (and they shouldn't in order to be effective in correcting over pronation.). As they were, the top edge of the heel of the insert, pressed into the back of my heel. It's possible that the next, higher size may fit my foot better--something I'll need to keep in mind as I continue with my search. The thing about insoles, they need to fit a variety of unique characteristics about feet. When you think about it from that perspective, manufacturers have a very difficult task in developing footwear that fits well. Therefore, I had to go with a "middle-of-the-road" rating. The insert has exceptional support all around the instep. Unfortunately, they didn't work for me.

Garage
Garbage! If I could give it a negative star I would! They are not comfortable at all. It’s basically just hard plastic with a cloth cosmetic covering that is not soft in anyway!

The right insert for my problem
These won't be for everybody. I have a bad achilles, and needed a solid lift insert. These are solid. And, they have great arch support. I tried many others, but they were all too soft to give long-lasting support. I have used these on 5-6 mile hikes, and they worked just fine to keep my achilles from aching. My PT therapist says this is the kind I should be using going forward. I started with one pair for my rehab walks, now I have a set in each of my walking, hiking, tennis and basketball shoes - they stand up to a hard workout. And, they are just short enough with the 3/4 length that they don't get under the balls of my feet and mess up my push-off or landing. My go-to inserts for any time my feet will be working hard.
