Lady Valet Small Textured Ecru Adjustable Dress Form (UK Dress Size 10-16)

This is the crème de la crème of adjustable dummies. It looks really good and is functional. It does what it says it does. Make sure you check the sizing before buying and get the one you need. The fabric is lovely, the wooden stand is beautiful and it is easy to adjust. Very happy.

I bought this not only to use for dressmaking alterations, but also for display purposes. It looks like it'll do both jobs well as it's now standing in a shop and gives a clean modern look to my outfits. I haven't really used it for dressmaking yet, but the adjustment wheels turn easily. It doesn't look very shapely around the waist, but will have to see how that goes, as the garments fitted it well.

This review is based on the quality of this dress form and it's ability to adjust it to fit your measurement. unfortunately i need the petite model as my rib cage is smaller than the smallest settings on this dress form so for that reason i will be returning it and ordering a petite model.i highly suggest you measure yourself first and get the smaller model where you can pad it if its too small, it's easier to expand a mannequin than to try and shrink to it's size.firstly it's not flimsy, its well made with solid wood stand and adjustable height, the body of the dress cover allows you to pin it, the body is made out of plastic clad in fabric and has a slight padding all over about 2mm thick which allows you to insert a pin into the fabricyou can adjust the height and the shortest is about 4"10 4"11.I found you can adjust the back waist length and the smallest length was 14.5 - 15 inches from nape to waist. my neck to waist measurement is 13 inches so it was not a perfect fit for me however you can increase this length.after you have checked your measurements setting I would advice you put a garment that fits you well on the garment to see if there is adjustments to be made so that the garment fits the model as it fits you, this might be difficult so take a picture from different angles to compare the fit.As always things are not indestructible, after all this mannequin is designed to be adjustable therefore has movable parts and is flexible so i would treat it with respect and not think these design aspects are the result of poor quality as some customers seem to think.Of course it's not designed to be thrown about.

This is a beautiful, high-quality sewing form! Just as described, it has a lot of wheels that make the sizing customisable, and the top and support are made of a really nice, dark wood. It's also quite study, and the height can be adjusted as well. It comes with a leaflet with instructions to assemble the foot and work with the wheels. I recommend you buy a cover for it, as otherwise it might be uncomfortable to have the wheels in your way. If you're looking to buy a dressform, I strongly recommend this one!

Worth the investment, a great aid to your dressmaking and looks good standing in the corner of my sewing room. With a bit of padding here and there I have made my body double. Everything fits like a glove. It's important to order the correct size and be prepared to pad it.

This is at its smallest size at the shortest torso.It’s very sturdy.Easy to put togetherCan be pinned only on a slant.Easy to alter the sizeNot perfect replica of my body shape but love that it starts at a short torso and the height is easily adjusted.You turn the knob on the neck to alter the width of the neck.Over all I’m very pleased with my purchase.

After a lot of deliberation and looking at other similar articles I decided to purchase the Traditional Lady Valet despite it being one of the more expensive tailor adjustable dummies and am thoroughly pleased with the quality and ease of putting it together. Haven't yet used it but adjusted the size which is really simple to do. The wood finish on tripod legs and neck give it the appearance of a piece of furniture and looks good as a feature in my bedroom. Would definitely recommend this product.

The mannequin is fully adjustable with the bonus of lengthening the back, perfect for me. It can be pinned onto. The wooden stand has a good finish. All in all a really good product with no negatives. Yet again I'm thrilled with the prompt service and delivery from Pandoras
