Well made, easy to assemble, responsive seller
We installed this wall bar in our under-utilized guest room when converting it into a yoga room (with a mirrored murphy bed). Our ceiling is only 8 feet but we can still use the adjustable pull-up bar just not with gusto. We painted the side rails to match the walls. We did add three 1x4 stringers across the back (for structural integrity, to guaranty we would hit the studs and to help the wall bar clear our tall baseboards). We also switched out the mounting hardware for GRK RSS structural screws and the corner brackets for ones that have more attachment points (we have definitely over-engineered the installation). The seller was very responsive and communication was easy. The bar arrived sooner than expected and was well packaged. We added the dip bar and both it and the adjustable pull-up bar work well. The only thing I would change is to request stronger wood for the side rails - perhaps poplar - as the pine tends to dent easily (we put a few minor nicks in ours when moving around).

Great product, make sure to install it in a reinforced manner on your wall
I got this for my daughter's scoliosis and for stretching. The quality of the wood and the machining/cut of the wood are fine. the packaging was good and tight. Everything arrived well. Nothing missing. The ladder is not that difficult to assemble. However, there are several considerations to installing it properly. First, I cannot imagine how the 2 sets of brass braces with short screws and screws with anchors will successfully support an adult regularly using this ladder, especially if it involves the kind of force pulling it away from the wall that would come with hanging from it. It is thus imperative to install this on studs, but because it's about 29" wide it doesn't fit most studs, so you need to be creative to make sure this is securely enough attached to the wall not to be pulled out either over time or when you're hanging on it, causing potentially serious injury. what I did was the following:1. First, wen assembling the ladder, buy yourself another thing of wood glue becuase you need more than they give you and you should liberally apply it to every hole before you add the bar so that when it dries it's really strong. Also I added more glue to the edges of the meeting point where the bar goes into the side of the ladder to really seal it and then just rubbed off the excess wood glue. I left this overnight to dry to make sure it really set well. this is definitely worth doing.2. I bought a 2"x6" 12' long piece of birch and had it cut into 4 equal 3' (36") pieces.3. I used a stud finder and bought 4.5" lag screws and after drilling pilot holes, used a drill to screw the four 2"x6" pieces of wood into the studs into the wall, with 2 lag screws on each side of the pieces, approximately 1.5" in from the top and bottom ends of the 2"x6". The most important of these are the top t3o pieces because they are going to have most of the pressure hanging off the wall trying to pull them out. I divided the top half of the ladder (which is in fact 2 separate pieces held together by a screw internally between them) into thirds, and measured it so the 2 pieces of 2x6 are at the 1st and 2nd third of the top section. **If you have it or can get it, use a recess drill bit to drill out space for the hex end of the lag screw to go into the wood below the surface so it's not sticking out, otherwise it will hit the ladder and you won't be able to screw it fully flush against the wood (see photo).4. remembering that you need to have a mirror against the wall inside the bars so you can watch your postures, etc. I cut out to blocks from the 3rd piece of 2x6 and screwed them into the studs about 12" from the top end of the bottom piece of the ladder (see photos). that left space in the middle to hang a mirror against the wall. Finally, about 5" from the bottom I put the last 2x6.5. When it was time to attach the ladder to the wall and the 2x6 pieces I used the 2 pairs of brass braces that came with the ladder for the top two attachments and then bought another set of braces for the bottom half, doubling the number of braces to ensure the strongest support.6. On the ladder, I used 1 lag bolt and rilled a hole for it through the side of the ladder, and bolted the brace to it. I was too scared of splitting the wood to drill the inside hold of the brace so just used the screw provided. I did this for all 4 upper braces so I have four bolts through the ladder, which made it really secure. In addition, I bought to 3.5" wood screws (much longer than the ones they provided) to go into the 2x6 beams. So between the bolts and the longer screws the top half of the ladder is fully secure and I'm confident it can hold 200 lbs without any problem. For the bottom to braces I bought from the hardware store, i used the small screws that came with them so they wouldn't go all the way through the side of the ladder, but used the longer screws I bought to secure them fully to the 2x6.All this took time as I'm not someone who does this kind of work but it was definitely worth it and I am now confident i can use this ladder for years without any worry of it coming off the wall, although I'll check the screws and bolts periodically and tighten them as necessary. (as of now it's not giving me a space to upload photos but will try later. Apologies if they don't appear)

Bars are not as thick as I have used on previous Dani bars.
Bars need to be thicker in diameter. Need a cushion that can be moved around or on specific bars.

Wood split down the middle due to poor hole alignment
Been eager for this delivery to set up for my 3 kids. Unfortunately, the holes for each half later to connect does not aligned. As soon as I tightened them together the wood split down the middle! No way am I planning to unscrew all these pieces back after spending all this time to put it together!

Top adjustable base is not strong enough.
I bought the ladder for my 9 year old daughter for gymnastics practice. The top add-on part lasted a whole 3 month. The right side of the adjustable pull up bars where the screws hold the bars just came through the holes. Apparently the cutout part is too thin and couldn't hold against a weight of my 55lb daughter. If I knew this in advance i would use washers on outside and inside of the bars. See picture of the damage.

Good quality construction, and perfect size. Highly recommended.
I just bought and installed these a few weeks ago. I think that stall bars are one of the most effective tools available for stretching and strengthening the human body. Just look at the builds of the gymnasts who use them regularly, yet you can start very mildly as a beginner if you need to. Now on to the review: The top part of the bars (the pull up bar) is made from the same type of wood as the wall-mounted portion, but there is always a variation in color tone between different pieces of wood; and can be raised/lowered as needed. The color matching looks natural, and I am happy with how mine looks (see picture). I mounted my stall bars in the garage in a space that worked for me, and it took me about an hour and a half working very carefully and deliberately to finish the installation. I'm fairly handy; and the tools I used were a power drill, drill bits, 3 various-sized Phillips screwdrivers, a stud finder, a measuring tape, pencil, a ladder, and some wood glue. The ladder attaches to the wall using four pairs of L-shaped brackets that you screw to the wall and then to the frame of the vertical portion. I don't think that the wall screws provided in the kit are big enough, so I supplied my own bigger ones (hence the 4-star rating); and you need to make sure that you are mounting the wall screws into the studs (use a stud finder to make sure). Otherwise, everything else you need is included. There is even a tube of wood glue included for securing the wooden handles in between the frame rails; however, I ran out of glue and had to supply some additional glue of my own. None of the additional supplies I used were very costly. I am about 5 feet 9 inches tall, and so I mounted my stall bars about 9-10 inches off the ground so that the pull up bar was high enough for me. Overall, I am very happy with the product. I would beware of the maximum weight rating. I think it is about 250 pounds. I currently weigh 224, and can tell that I am about the max that it can handle. Hope this helps, and I would definitely recommend these to everyone! :-)
