The fabric is sturdy and has good texture. Item was very easy to assemble except for the drawer stops, which were detailed with a somewhat confusing insert diagram. Overall I recommend this daybed. It's beautiful and very easy to assemble.

everything good about this item EXCEPT, the drawers, they don't pull out even and don't slide well....for the price I will live with it.
