I actually wanted this to refurbish a saxaboom of my dads. It looks great, isn't some pot metal junk. It ALSO comes with the big weighted screw, that can cost as much as a whole ligature. I usually use the same brand ligature as my sax, and this holds up in every respect. In some ways I like it better than my normal alto mouthpiece.

I ordered this for my Jody Jazz MP. I have three other ligs and they are all just a hair too big. Tis one is as well, which means it's pretty much the same size as most soprano ligs. Of course it could be that my particular reed is just a bit thin. I don't know. But this is a good lig regardless. I'll make it work.
