Great toy train set. My 10 year old assembled it. Fun to watch it go around the Christmas tree.

The toy was fun and easy to put together. Steam and everything was really cool, required a bit more water than what was suggested to start with.One thing that is misleading on the product box and the advertising on the site is that there isn't a white light on the front of the train that "lights the way." There's little red light in the very center but it's not very bright so if you were trying to use this as part of a display under a Christmas tree with the lights out, if wouldn't be the best choice.

This is quite cheaply built. No remote control, flimsy parts. Much nicer sets available for same price.

Purchased 2 sets for grandsons, ages 8 and 7. They LOVE it! Had fun setting it up, runs easily and the steam effect is a HUGE hit!

Cheap but cute. You get what you pay for.

This is a nice, cheap, starter train. We have a grandson and two young cats experiencing Christmas for the first time. Wanted a train, did not want a high-end set, and this set was affordably ok. Easy snap track. Plenty of track. Locomotive and three cars hard to attach. Battery operated with decent battery life. Smoke is cute. Train sounds ok.

Got this for 3yr old grandson and he loves it...
