This Steamery iron I have been converting for a while. My friends who use one, wouldn’t be without it. It does the job perfectly, is easy to handle and I would fully recommend. I’ve had a number of this type of iron and whilst the cost is quite high, the product quality and the excellent finished task completed using this iron cannot be beaten by cheaper models. I have a Steamery iron at last and use it regularly, a top purchase.

This steamer is really easy to use. There are only 2 buttons - one to turn it on (to heat up) and the other for steam. The steamer has a water tank that is easy to take out, refill, and put back in. Very intuitive to use. The steamer also has a ‘glove’ with it, it reminds me of oven mitts - it is designed to protect hand from hot steam as well as create a hard even surface when steaming fabric.- Pros of this device:Very easy to useTo me water tank ran out (or was close to running out) each time I finish piece of heavily wrinkled clothing - glad it is not smaller to keep me running to the tapEfficient - the steamer was able to get some wrinkles out where my iron was uselessNot too heavy to hold for a while (but hands can start hurting if I have more clothes to go through at once)Lightness also makes this steamer easy to transportHand protector mitt works well and helps to create hard surface when steaming which makes process easier- Some disadvantages I noticed:Clothes need to be fitted somewhere when steaming - otherwise this device will make material move too much and make clothes fall downThe steamer can be less efficient when trying to steam more than one layer of fabric (such as long sleeves)The hand protector cannot get into smaller areas, such as sleeves, so those have to be steamed as 2 layersShirts can take ages to steam with this device, ironing with the iron is fasterCord is not very long which limits the areas I can use this device in

The media could not be loaded.  Unlike other reviewers, I didn’t find this steamer particularly lightweight. Of course it’s not as heavy as a steam iron, but still somewhat weighty. I wouldn’t pack it in my suitcase as it weighs around 650g excluding the power cable and plug.The power cable is 2m long and you can fill the reservoir with up to 85ml of water. It’s very easy to remove and replace the reservoir as it magnetically clicks into place. It takes 20 seconds to warm up and there is just one power level.It comes with a thick padded mitt to protect your hand from the heat and is useful for collars and cuffs.I initially tried it on some jersey clothing that had hanger bumps in the shoulders. I have to say the steamer got rid of them immediately. I then tried it on some jeggings. It was less successful as the creasing only partially faded. I then tried a t-shirt and a cotton shirt. It didn’t completely get rid of the creases and it left water marks on the material (which did dry off)I do like this steamer, as it’s powerful and appears to be well made. It’s not an alternative to an iron, it’s just a useful additional tool.
