6.5mm Optical AR-IR CUT filter AR/IR Blocking filter for camera lens M12 etc

I bought a NOIR camera for the Raspberry Pi (all that was available at the time). Rather than buy a complete new camera I used one of these filters over the lens. I just tacked it on the front of the existing lens with a tiny blob of PVA adhesive applied with the end of a cocktail stick. You can see the difference in the image as a result!! Very very pleased.

Used them to cut IR from my green lasers, to make them safer.

I got this small piece of glass because I was messing around with a custom camera module for my garage. The video colors were completely washed out and everything had a strange pinkish-purple hue during the daytime. I learned I needed an infrared blocker to fix it. I was a little worried about getting the right size, but the 26mm fit exactly where I needed it inside my housing. The glass itself feels decently made and I didn't see any obvious scratches or weird coating issues when holding it up to the light. Once I put the camera back together, the daytime colors finally looked natural again. The trees and grass are actually green now instead of pink. My only tiny complaint is that it doesn’t come with any mounting rings or adhesive, so you have to figure out how to secure it yourself. Still, it completely saved my little DIY project from being a total waste.

Cut offs as advertised, nice and sharp. They need to update the specs on % Trans for <400 cut off or I couldn't find it. They have it for >700nm. To help reduce even more I stacked 2 of them. They are useful for the planned camera applications but also for amateurs using spectrometers looking for ways to evaluate scatter. If they could I would like to suggest another product -- 360-830nm corresponding to the range used in chromaticity calculations. It may be a niche market, but I am sure that some may appreciate being able to simply use a filter for both reducing scatter by reducing the wavelength window and expanding the range over this product for better evaluations for the x,y and other color parameters. Great filters. Well worth it.

Die Linsen sind ordentlich, der Preis etwas hoch. Lieferung ohne Probleme. Wie der Beschreibung zu entnehmen bekommt man 2 Linsen. Hatte ich dann auch noch vor Kauf gelesen. Erst einmal hatte ich durch das Bild allerdings den Eindruck, dass man wesentlich mehr Linsen kauft.
