This product is exactly what I was looking for! The quality is off the charts top notch! Very easy to install! Goes right around the cable and is a perfect fit. We are rolling a Polaris Sportsman 570 with a Polaris 3500 lb winch with a synthetic cable. Product went on with a couple turns of the tools and looks like it will stay on for years to come! If by some chance it falls off the pack comes with two! One black and one bright orange! El Hefe customer service even communicated along the way during shipping! Good quality ... heavy duty ... keeps the hook from damaging rollers on a winch fairlead ... I like these ... use them on a 9500 winch with metal cable. Easy to install and equipped with lock nuts to ensure they don't vibrate off. I really like having two colors to select from ... a small point but allows using with high (orange) visibility or low (black) from a distance ... strictly a personal aesthetic choice.

Purchased a 2 pack of these to use on my new synthetic rope. I had intended to use one near the thimble and the other just past the rock sleeve on my line. Upon my initial install the diameter of the rope near the thimble was much to large for the stopper to fit properly. So I placed them both just past my rock sleeve and finished spooling my winch line. I like the fact that it forced the rock sleeve to bunch up and kept it out of the winch proper. Both stoppers seem sturdy and I believe they will work great as rope weights when i have to use my winch as they slide along the line. Overall I am very happy with them.

Stop winch hook before it went into winch

I have an orange Polaris 850XP (i cant help bragging...BRRRAPPPP) so naturally i wanted an orange hook stop - enter el jefe. El Jefe's are just like all the other ones, comes with lock nuts, rubber is solid will take the abuse I'll dish out as I use mine regularly. I got the box with 2, gave the extra one to my riding buddy. They work great, saves on the winch gears and prevents damages to rollers and guides on the winch. The only question is: why don't you have one?

The order came in just as stated when i ordered them. I installed them on my super winch 4500 synthetic rope.They are heavy duty and feel and look like they will last a long time. Very easy to install in a matter of minutes. I was concerned that they would not fit my synthetic rope, but they fit very well. Now i know that the metal hook will not damage my aluminum flare head. There are no exposed metal parts to damage the aluminum flare head. I can now keep some tension on the rope like it is supposed to. Great product and would recommend it to be used on synthetic rope and wire as well.
