Nice looking lock
As a non do it yourselfer, the installation of this lock was challenging but updated manuals and outstanding customer support contributed to a successful install. Once installed the lock looks great and operates well.

Simple reliable wireless lock many features
Great lock. Easy to install. We have it on our Airbnb cabin and it works great. We set it up to communicate with the Airbnb automatically so when a guest books the place it automatically generates and sends them a code that will be active only for the duration of their stay. The app is also very easy to use so it’s been simple to set up codes for cleaners and maintenance people as needed. This has eliminated lost keys and people getting locked out. Very happy.

Didn't work but manufacturer made it right
The lock was defective and could not be programmed. While on tech support, the manufacturer specifically warned against buying their locks on Amazon because it seems this one was refurbished or previously used and sold as new. But they did send me a brand new one so everything ended up fine but it took an extra week to get sorted out so don't buy if you're in a rush.

Customer Service Department is closed for the season - Beware!
The only thing I hate more than wasting time posting reviews is having to work with the RemoteLock company! I decided I would warn others from doing business with RemoteLock while I wait for a call back from this company — that means I have over a week to work on my review on their customer service — or lack thereof! Over a month ago, I called in with a problem adding more locks onto their system (so I am attempting to spend more money with this inept company!) and they can’t find time to return my calls. You have to schedule a call back over a week out, and then hope they call you back at that time. In my case, they didn’t bother to do so, so I got to leave another waste-of-time message, put back in cue over a week+ out, waiting for that call back. I can only hope and pray for that call back — it’s like scheduling a teeth cleaning, except that’s an insult to my dentist because they actually show up to do their job. When asked in an email from RemoteLock if I could reschedule the first call, I replied “sure, call me anytime later this week” to which Sarah Schweiger replied “I am heading out of the office the rest of the week...” Seriously?! This is how a modern day company addresses the needs of their clients? No one else can assist? I have asked multiple individuals if they can send me a weblink to the information I need, but have been offered none and have wasted enough time trying to find the answer myself. Please let me know if there is another company I can use instead, without needing to replace all of my lockstate WIFI locks! Buying Schlage from now on and plan to check out their customer service and online services. If they can return calls in less than 30 days, that’s a huge improvement! I’ve seen many other negative reviews about RemoteLocks but have overlooked them because I have sort of mastered the art of troubleshooting most of the many issues people have with these WiFi locks myself. I like the way they integrate with the online website and phone app when working with multiple properties, but they HAVE to correct their customer service situation! Sheeeeesh!!

Tech Support non existent
I should have listened to the bad reviews regarding the non existent customer service***ZERO STARS FOR THAT*** We're pretty handy, can usually figure things out, but couldn't get the lock to connect to wifi. One week in and still waiting for a call back, to no avail. My second problem I have with this lock is the monthly fee. We own another of these locks on a rental property in another state. It has worked perfectly for five years and we have never had a fee. Is this something new? I don't need it to hook to my phone or any fancy stuff. I just need to generate codes and give the code to the users. The only reason we didn't choose a Schlage or Kwikset was that they only came with 30 codes. The lockstate came with 1,000 which would have lasted forever. At this point in time, it looks like we'll be removing the lock and returning it. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VIRTUALLY NON EXISTENT!!!

Don't waste your time with this one
Very disappointed. We could not get the lock to connect to Wi-Fi nor could we get it to lock with the app and we just gave up and sent it back. I would think that it would've had better reviews being sold on Amazon but I guess I was thoroughly disappointed in this very cheap and not worth the money

Terrible Customer Support
I have about 20 of these locks for various Airbnb properties. When they work, they are great. But the last lock I bought would not stay locked. Tech support calls are scheduled at least a week out, so if you have an emergency, you are out of luck. After waiting a week for my scheduled call, I spent about an hour on the phone with the very nice tech. We thought we fixed the issue, but it broke again a few hours later. Airbnb guests were admittedly very upset about not having a locking door, and I'm left scratching my head as to why their customer service is so abysmal. The only good thing about these locks is that they integrate with Airbnb (codes are auto generated for each guest), but if they break, you best have a backup option, and handyman on call who can come switch it out for a regular lock.
