My husband bought this magnifying lighted lamp for me because I am a crafter. I was worried at first thinking the lamp would be top heavy but it is not. I can bend the gooseneck all the way to the base and the lamp is stable. Great magnification and lighting. Where has this lamp been all my crafting life? I simply love it and would give it more than 5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised. This magnifier actually exceeded my expectations. It is sturdy and stable. The gooseneck is flexible without being floppy. The large 8X glass lens is sharp and clear. The device is heavy enough to stay put and light enough to reposition or transport without difficulty.The functionality of this device is greatly augmented by the built-in light ring. The LEDs are controlled by a row of switches which can adjust not only their brightness but their color temperature, which can enhance clarity, depending on the work piece.The magnifier has no batteries. Its lights are powered by a 5-volt USB "charger." That power source plugs into a standard wall outlet. The magnifier taps into it with a built-in cord terminated with a standard USB plug.My only complaint is that the screw-threaded knob that holds the magnifier and base together has a tendency to work loose. I tighten it as a precaution before starting my project.I can confidently recommend this product and would not hesitate to buy it again.

This makes stuff more bright and more bigger, If you need stuff more bright and more bigger then this product is for you! Also if you dont look through the glass part stuff is just more bright without being more bigger so good for just that too. In addition if you don't turn it on you can still make stuff more bigger and not more bright! Cons: Do not look through the gass part directly at the sun, it burns a little at first then everything goes black!

The bendable function is not very flexible. The magnifying glass is very good and the different lighting functions are nice to have. Seems a little top heavy. I like the light once I have it in a good stationary position.

Although I love Amazon, I think I have returned more than half of the items I have purchased. Sometimes just seeing an image on line isn't the same thing as actually being able to evaluate the real thing. So, I needed a bright light with a magnifier for doing some crafts/needlework. This product is the third one I have bought in two weeks. FINALLY I have one that is bright, sturdy, large area of magnification and is a real game changer for doing work that needs a close-up view (needlepoint). Forget all of the rest. Just buy this one. (And I don't usually leave a review...)

Base bolt attaching goose neck to base would not lock in place, kept turning. Magnifier will not adjust positions; need it to face down onto desk surface.

Love the lens and light settings. The power cord is a little usb type so need a rubberband or to keep it tamed when not in use. Would recommend and the price was very good. Also has a heavy stable base!

This lamp works perfectly for doing my nails or any detail work needed.
