Sweet and quirky. Got teary eyed. Loved the characters and their growth over time. I recommend and plan to read the sequel

Marie’s best friend has taken a job in New York City. Marie’s wonders how she will cope as she has few (no) close friends. Fate intervenes and things go from there. An entertaining read about the value of friendship with a bit of romance mixed in. FRIENDS LIKE THESE is an entertaining read with interesting characters and a nice message.

Characters you want as your friends. Quick paced with enough humor to distract the reader from the romance that's actually going on.

Friends Like these was a cute story, and also very humorous which I liked. I enjoyed the quirky assortment of side characters, although some of them fell a little flat. I really fell in love the with main character Marie. She is the main reason I kept reading, even though at times I didn't feel truly engaged in the story. Overall it was a fun enjoyable read.

Some laugh out loud moments and just the kind of book that brings joy to my soul. Those sound like my kind of friends! 😀

I'm an avid reader that's always searching for a good book and this one is certainly that, full of interesting characters, quirky, sweet, amazingly different and completely engaging, I loved it, a must read!

I disliked the female lead enough that I almost stopped reading it. So Glad I kept reading. The friends are charming. The situations are a combo of irritating, charming and funny. I quite enjoyed the other characters. Another nice element was although it has a love story (or 2) in it, there are no step by step details of sex to have to scan past.

I couldn't stop reading!!! I was so fascinated by Marie and all the characters in her life and the bizarre things that happened I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. With her full of advice co worker her excentric mother and a best friend trying to set her up with her friend she has more help than she needs. Normally when I read a book with this many characters I have a tendency to get confused and have to backtrack to re identify some of them. These characters were just that, characters who stand out for their personalities and quirks.I wondered if Marie and Brian would ever sort themselves out and define their relationship but there was such a sweet ending I was happy for them. I hope you will read this and enjoy it as much as I do.

I truly enjoyed this book. A feel good, relaxing book. I find myself smiling while reading. It takes my mind away from every day work and home chaos.

What a really mixed up super funny, super quirky and enjoyable book to read. Nearly read in one go couldn’t put it down. Just wanted to see what mischief or mix up the friends would get up to next. Just read it for yourself Hannah Ellis writes such good books, you will laugh out loud 💕

The book is funny and nice, i liked it! But i missed Grace in the end. A feel good book, i can recommand.

I wish I could give more than five stars. Although the genre is not mystery, yet it was a great page-turner. I fell in love with all the characters. It should be made into a movie.
