I was hesitant to buy these as pervious purchases of similar socks turned out to always disappoint, thin, small and badly made. But not with these socks, holly mamma, these are the best quality socks I’ve every purchased, very thick and warm, with a nice Christmassy design and very keenly priced.Time will tell how well they wear. One small negative, the internal loose threads can get caught in your toes when slipping them on, just open them a little wider before you put your tootsies in.

These socks were bought to go skiing. They are extremely thick and very warm. Only down side is that they are very long to the ankle. They are extremely thick so be warned when choosing your shoes or boots. They were extra comfortable and kept my feet warm in extreme cold weather.

These socks are ideal for the cold winter months. They are a nice thick wool material and have a good range of colours. They are not too long and not too short, I'm over 6 foot tall and these socks come up to the bottom of my calfs, which is what I wanted. More importantly they keep my feet warm and are comfy to wear with shoes or slippers.On the negative side I would say they were slightly overpriced and they had a peculiar odour upon opening which smelt a bit like an old warehouse or something. I suspect they were sat in storage for a while before I bought them. However this smell has faded after a couple of washes.Offer these under £15 and they would be five stars, but at just under £20 they are 4 stars all the way. And that initial smell also impacted my decision to give 4 stars and not 5.

Comfy, warm and good value for money indeed

Really warm and thick. Bought them to put in my Timberland boots for a holiday to Norway and they were perfect!

Socks look quality and are comfy. They are warm(ish) but certainly not, in my opinion, thermal. In comparison to my usual socks they are only slightly warmer but in comparison to a pair of thermal socks, these socks are certainly not. Nevertheless overall pleased with the purchase due to the quality but they do fall below expectations in relation to warmth.

Really pleased with these socks. 5 pairs for a good price in the sale £10. Good quality and toasty warm. Range of colours are great too. I like the length in particular as they’re not too high on the calf, perfect for me, and they don’t feel tight like some others. Will enjoy wearing these now that Winter has started. Highly recommend.

Decent thick socks I use with my hiking boots - my main concern when comes to socks is seamless toe, as nothing worse than ball of stitching on the little toe!! these are seamless, warm, and comfy - happy with purchase
