Fits 8 on 6.5" barely
I was able to fit on my 8 lug spare tire, but it did kind of bend the backing plate. I've driven a couple thousand miles with it installed and did have to tighten it up once. For the price though, it is excellent.

These are JUNK! Do not buy!!
Broke after only the second trip with just a regular spare on it nothing crazy. The tire just about fell off lucky I leaned on in getting gas or I could have lost my spare or worse caused an accident.

Poor fitment and thin metal
Bought a cheap tire carrier and received exactly that. It's made with thin metal and didn't fit my 8 lug wheel like it needed too and after aprox 100 miles i noticed the top bolt hole had broke and caused the tire to flop on the mount. Not worth buying to use on 8 lug wheels maybe smaller wheels would be ok.
