Halo 3 Covenant Carbine Scaled Replica

Had no idea what to get my brother for his birthday, but saw this and knew he'd love it, which he did. It's not a toy you play with, really, but he thoroughly enjoyed it in Halo-geek fashion! It's quite small too, so it fits nicely on the shelf he chose to place it on. All in all, a solid purchase.

I got one of these yesterday and I like it.I gave the fun rating a score of 3 because, it is, a desk ornament. I feel 3 is more appropriate for something that isn't exactly much more than an ornamental toy.Educational value is 3, we all pretty much know what one looks like, the box came with no books or anything, the gun itself is enough for 3 stars as you get to see what it looks like by it just being a scaled, accurate replica.Durability? Solid. Die-cast metal, worn effects in the paint, its hard, so dropping this off your desk won't break it unless it falls far and hits a hard surface where there is a chance, like with some metals, that it may shatter. But overall a nice "durable toy".Overall its 4, its good, its nice to have, nice to look at, looks cool on any desk and I wouldn't mind being corrected on this, but Im told that you may be able to use these with the McFarlane Halo3 replica models of Master Cheif and the Arbiter.
