Sturdy!
This speaker mount is extremely well made, sturdy and safe for use in a ceiling mount. Mounted to the 2x4 stud and my speakers aren’t going anywhere. They look very nice too!

Works great!
I installed two under kitchen cabinets. It took a bit if measuring and maneuvering to get them positioned just right, but once I did, they held my Sonos speakers great! Very secure they look fantastic

Screws are screwed up
In the picture you can see that one of the screw holes is off centre. On top of that, they are also the wrong size. The rest of the product seems quite sturdy.

This thing is made out of pewter and hot garbage.
This adjustable mount failed 3 days after the return window closed. It only lasted 6 weeks. Since the original installation there haven't been any additional adjustments. The unit failed on the wall while holding up the $300 speaker. Do not buy this.

Wrong size screws
Wrong size screws for mounting era 100 on the underside. Overall mount is meh. It’ll work; would rather spend more on better product.

Attractive Minimalist Ceiling Mount Solution w/One Concern
Upgraded my older Sonos Play 3's used as ceiling mounted rear surrounds with a pair of Era 100s. The 3's mount is not compatible with the 100's. This feels like a mostly well made study solution, which assembles and installs relatively easily (strongly recommend not using the provided hardware for a sheetrock ceiling mount--my existing ones were screwed into a metal strut, so I just did the same here). The only concern I have is that my setup requires an angled downwards positioning and the single bottom relatively small screw holding the speaker seems like it won't fully tighten. The speaker probably won't go anywhere, but I'd be happier with some secondary means to hold the speaker in place (maybe a lip on the bottom plate).UPDATE: I was using the wrong screw for securing the speaker to the base. The correct screw was included in the small bag with the wall mounting screws and anchors. This screw fits perfectly and firmly holds the speaker in place.
