DUST COMMANDER S30 - Professional antistatic cyclone filter kit with 30l steel drum

I bought one of these for my garage/workshop which is constantly bathed in sawdust from my sliding miter chop saw despite being connected to a vacuum. Like a lot of reviewers, the facts are: 1: This metal unit is worth the money, really well made. 2: Assembled in minutes, works a treat. Vacuum now pulling in almost nothing, but suction is way stronger even with 4-5M of hose because the filters are all completely clean and efficient. All the sawdust is in the metal bin and the air is much cleaner - noticeably fewer particles in eyes and throat. 3: I bought the 'frequently bought together...' long house and adapters - but it does come with a bag full of reducers to allow you to connect existing hose/vacuum combos. I would recommend buying in the long hose and adapters as it makes set-up really painless and quick as well as allowing you to attach anything you already have. FYI: I have an old but powerful Dyson cylinder vac generating the suck and it now works way better as it's working 100% all the time. Also works great with Henry. It looks like it will be weeks before it needs emptying rather than 20-30 minutes when connected directly. I have left the very long 'recommended' hose connected at full length so that it can be decoupled from tools and used as a handy clean-up vac, and surprisingly this seems to work fine despite the length. Really good kit, buy it with confidence as it is a purchase you will not regret; just wish I'd found this sooner. (Glowing review is honest and unpaid BTW).

Excellent product. It's more expensive than some but it's robust and well built and can take the pace in my tiny, but rough and tumble home workshop. Easily extracts sawdust from all my power tools, massively reducing cleanup time. Just buy one.

Arrived a day early. Nice and compact. Seems to work really well, good suction. Better than my original system which did not have "cyclone" dust collector which lost power. Looking forward to using during wood turning.

Works very well, leaves no dust in the vacuum cleaner filter, all dust stays in the cyclone drum. Ring clamp was tight, however a bit of WD40 and turning on the vacuum cleaner helped get the rubber seal to deform enough for the lid to seal. The drum container is strong. The cyclone is fitted to the lid already so no messing about needed. My Bosch vacuum hoses fit perfectly. One star more if it was priced a bit lower.

Awesome addition. works well with Bosch extractor separating a good 80%. Saves extractor bags, that do get very expensive. Do need extra hosing which was easy to find on amazon.

We bought this unit to add on to one of our workshop vacuums. Although it was supplied with 4 adapters no hoses were supplied (unlike one of the rival products) and it was impossible to connect it without buying additional hoses, adapters and jubilee clips.

Completely agree with all the 5-star reviews. It comes pre-assembled, so all you need to do is flip it over, connect up your hoover, and away you go. 99% of all the waste goes straight into the metal bin, with virtually nothing getting to the vacuum bag, which has the added benefit that you maintain 100% suction all of the time. As a bonus, the "often purchased with" hose actually fits. The only downside I can find, and it would apply equally to any equivalent you look at, is that you might need to find a suitable adapter to connect the hose coming from your existing vacuum (the ports on this cyclone are 50mm ID). If you are struggling to find one, there are a couple of sellers on eBay that will make up 3D printed adapters to suit your own measurements - which I how I did it. 5 stars all day long, wish I'd bought one earlier!

Absolutely love it. I was hesitating buying this unit at first, I was going to buy a cheaper copy from china and make a system myself. After I weighed up the time it would take making one and the possible complication with seals etc compared to a well thought out and built unit I decided to go for this later option. I read other reviews regarding the sealing clasp being overly tight and was a little concerned however the instructions offer some helpful tips which I didn't see until after my first attempt of clamping the lid on. It is possible but its very stiff at first. The instructions advise to use the suction from the vacuum to help pull the lid tight on the seal, I would say to follow that method as it took some huffing and puffing without. After a couple of days of use the sealing mechanism becomes much easier to close due to the newly formed rubber seal being compressed and moulded to the correct shape. It now opens and closes with no effort. The main feature of this unit is that it works really, really well. I purchased a Fein dustex 25 and a 50mm festool (d50) 2.5m hose which connects the units together and the suction is crazy. I use a 2" waste pipe flexible couplings to join the 55m cyclone to the 57mm vac hoses. I have been using it daily and have noticed minimal dust makings way into the vac bag. The cyclone is dumping virtually everything in the barrel below. I would not hesitate in recommending this unit to anybody who is in the market for one.

Senza doppi sensi...è un bel bidone. Il ciclonico è la svolta nel campo del fai da te e, per lavori di piccola e media entità, anche in ambito professionale. Una grande capienza in un sistema semplice per non stare li a cambiare sacchetti e a pulire filtri. Super Produkt! Hochwertige Verarbeitung und funktioniert, nach dem besorgen der noch passenden Adapter, an einem BOSCH GAS 18V-10L. Dieser Akkustaubsauger von Bosch nervte, wenn man diesen bei Holzwerkzeugen zum Absaugen nutzte auf voller Linie bisher! Der Filter setzte sich umgehend zu und schon beim 3. Schnitt war keine Saugleistung mehr abrufbar. Ja, ist ein Akku-Sauger aber solange der Filter mit macht, ist die Leistung echt brauchbar wenn man keine Steckdose in der Nähe hat. Zwar schiele ich schon länger auf einen FESTOOL CTM 26 mit dieser Zyklonebox aber der Preis schreckt mich ab, auch wenn man dort ein kompaktes Gerät mit hoffentlich hoher Qualität erhalten würde. Naja, bleibt der weiterhin ein Traum und wird erst realisiert, wenn ich einen Preis dafür zahlen muss, der mir zusagt. Hier nun ein Upgrade in Höhe des Kaufpreises des BOSCH GAS 18V-10L nochmals investiert und der "Hobel" läuft endlich wie gewünscht! Was einen nur tierisch nervt insgesamt beim Thema Staubsauger sind diese unterschiedlichen Anschlüsse, teilweise Formen oder Durchmesser! Viel Angaben beziehen sich nur auf den Innendurchmesser, wie dick die Materialstärke oder der äußer Radius ist, wird in den unzähligen Angeobten nicht klar kommuniziert. Nach der schnellen Lieferung befinden sich genau 3 unterschiedliche Adapter im Lieferumfang. Leider passt keiner der drei auf die Kombi für den GAS 18V-10L. Ich habe mir, nicht bei Amazon (zu lange Lieferzeit und wie mittlerweile üblich viel zu teuer. Prime läuft Mitte des Jahres (2024) auch aus und dann verschwinde ich bei Jeff's Resterampe!!), sonder Werzkeugonlinehandel. Mit Transportkosten dann günstiger als hier und auch am nächsten Tag in den Griffeln. Er geht nicht über fünf "Geäude-Stockwerke" ;-) Er ist nicht so groß... Man wollte da wohl eigentlich mitgeben, dass fünf Größen hintereinander mit einem Adapter angepasst werden können. Dieser Adapter hier im dreier Set incl. nicht mit dem GAS 18V-10L nutzbaren Pinseldüse funktioniert prima. Das Material ist zum Glück kein Hartkunststoff sondern leicht "beweglich". Kann es schlecht beschreiben. Harter Gummi trifft es eher. Letzten Abschnitt der Adapter wird nur benötigt und mit dem Messer gekürzt. Passt dann prima auf den Original-Saugschlauch (den man dann noch ein weiteres mal natürlich benötigt) und dichtet perfekt ab, so dass keine Fremdluft gezogen wird und die Zyklonwirkung echt Funktioniert. Direkt den noch vorhandenen Holzstaub aus der letzten Holzkrampfbearbeitung ausgeschüttet und nun mit dem Dust Commander dazwischen aufgesaugt und es ergab sich keine Änderung des Luftstroms bzw. ein Zusetzen des Filters im GAS 18V-10L! Auch landete nichts im Auffangbehälter des BOSCH GAS 18V-10L an Holzstaub mehr. Echt empfehlenswert! Ich kann jedoch gerade nicht genau sagen, ob sich der Unterdruck beim Saugen etwas verschlechtert hat oder nicht. Dafür habe ich den GAS 18V-10L jetzt schon ca. 3 Wochen nicht mehr im Einsatz gehabt, weil er sich so schnell bisher zugesetzt hatte. Und ohne den Dust Commander will ich das "Paket" nur noch als Nassauger höchstens nutzen. Jetzt noch mal versuchen den normalen Dyson dranzuhängen, denn bei zwei Zyklonen dann könnte dieser zum Industriestaubsauger mutieren :-) Halt nur kein Nasssauger, was auch der GAS 18V-10L mit dem Dust Commander nicht mehr ist....

Il est connecté à un aspirateur de Marque Titan 1300W avec un tuyau de 6 mètres du même fabricant. Aspiration de poussière fine de bois et d'acier principalement. Je suis épaté par l'efficacité du système et la qualité de l'ensemble. Je m'attendais à du "chinois moyen" mais en fait la tôle est vraiment épaisse et il faut vraiment en vouloir pour la déformer, le cyclone ne fait pas camelote non plus. Il y a une toute petite perte d'aspiration comparé à l'aspirateur seul avec un sac et un filtre neuf mais comme il n'y a pas de perte en fonction du remplissage, ça ne me pose aucun problème. Aucune fuite à déplorer, ça respire la qualité.
