A new favorite!
This book is beautiful written and really makes you stop and think about WHY you may want to edit your life. The author provides real-life experiences with editing her own life, which I can relate to on so many levels. This book is easy to read! I’m on my second read, where I’m reading closer and taking my time to highlight key concepts. I wonderful book if you are looking to make some changes in your life!

Am loving this book!
This is such a powerful book! As someone who also loves to write, this book intrigued me. I love how Elisabeth uses book editing techniques and redirects them to her life. She takes you through her unique process so that you are left with a very meaningful life. Thank you!

Buy this book. You will not regret it.
Edit Your LifeI had the pleasure of taking a writing workshop with the author, Elisabeth McKetta. Elisabeth happens to be a Harvard and Oxford professor, so I, who didn’t even finish community college, jumped at the chance to take her workshop. When I found out during that workshop that she had a book coming out, I immediately purchased it.Don’t let Elisabeth’s Ivy League professor status and her PhD scare you, she’s one of the most gracious, lovely, warm, attentive, empathetic humans you’ll ever encounter. Even if your only encounter with her is through the pages of this book. Many of her students, including myself, have referred to her as magical. One of them called her sphere of influence the “magical McKetta orbit” and I agreed wholeheartedly.Edit Your Life is NOT about writing. It’s about finding what’s necessary for YOU in your current season of life, and hitting delete on the rest. It’s thought provoking, and will push you to take action, in the most gentle and elegant way. Buy this book. You will not regret it.

A "keeper" to revisit as your ever-changing life needs tending!
Elisabeth Sharp McKetta is a cultivator of a flourishing life. Like diverse plants in a garden, areas of life need attention in varied ways and changing seasons. From work to play, solitude to socializing, mundane tasks to wild creativity, life can be edited to balance the soil, fortify roots, and promote luscious growth. As I read this book, I went through two highlighters, began making much-needed edits in several areas of my life, and texted countless passages to friends and family. This is not a book to put on the shelf, but one to keep close as life continues to evolve. (For audiobook lovers, McKetta reads in her encouraging, joyful voice and makes you feel like you're talking over coffee with a best friend.)
