Works Easy to add to SmartThings Good battery life.

Used with home assistant.
I used this sensor with home assistant. Set up in no time. As usual z-wave device install in home assistant is as clear as mud. Once the device is detected then all went as expected, everything just worked. Did all I wanted. Nothing to complain about.

Good product but could be improved
My only regret is that it does not include an acceleration sensor (3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope or any kind of vibration sensor) for door knocker detection, unlike the Aeotec/Samsung SmartThings Multipurpose Door Sensor.

Finicky
Might work well with a real home automation system. Unfortunately I use Smarthings which has now decided to disconnect my sensors. Was finicky to set up and the sticky backing doesn't last more than a couple of moves. As I had to to take it off the door and then align it again to reset 5 times before Smarthings decided to sabotage itself I now need to either use sticky pads or bin it. Samsung's own sensors were never this much of a problem but as the app is so bad (sorry, apps, I have to use 2 Smarthings apps for basic functions) I've given up for now.

Simple, sustainable and fullproof.
First class product matched with my smartthings. Took about 10mins to sync and settle down. A little pricey but a really lovely small footprint. You will not be disappointed.

Way to expensive
I'm shocked how ripped off this price is how they can charge that much for it, you can buy CCTV camera for that price lol

Batterij waar het product op zou werken is erg onduidelijk. Staan 2 verschillende type's bij dit Produkt. Had 4 sensoren gekocht, inclusief batterij. 2 stuks gaven bij installatie maar een capaciteit van 50% aan. Dus ik bij Amazon naar dit product weer gezocht en zag bij de info dat er een CR123A batterij in zou moeten. (Zie foto) Blijkt er bij nader (beter) kijken van mijzelf, dat er een ER14250 batterij in moet. Verwarrende informatie zo. Onnodig 2 dure batterijen gekocht.

No entiendo porque amazon vende este producto para el mercado americano/mexicano, compre un par y no funcionan porque la frequencia de ZWAVE es diferente en US/MEX y Europa. Cuidado al comprar! solo funcionara si tu home center fue comprado en Europa
